Greetings and salutations!

Hey y'all! It's been a DAMN MINUTE AND A HALF.

Brief life update: I've started grad school (for the second time) and am currently figuring out all those lovely things called life choices or whatever. Either way, I'VE REALLY MISSED THIS SITE AND YOU DORKS SO MUACH. I'm looking to slowly get back to this and my other side blogs with some pretty exciting things in store...

If you don't remember me since it's been so damn long, or if you followed me during my most recent hiatus where I dropped off the face of the earth, my go-to original posts on here were mostly macro-like memes, screenshot collections, and various other bits of ridiculousness based on some of my fave games of all time. You can check out most of that stuff using this blog's #mine tag or various game-specific tags like #my cp2077 stuff / #my witcher stuff / #my rdr2 stuff etc. if you'd like. :3

From here on out, I'll likely be doing a massive blast or two of spams to clear out my saved drafts before hopefully sharing more extensive video game screenshot collections. I've got so many gigs worth of shit saved, my laptop and backup drive(s) are starting to hate me. This blog will mostly become a place where my still images will live since I just love how Tumblr deals with photos, while my brand-spanking-new insta, yt, and tt accounts will feature some fun game-based video and voice-acting related content (!!!!) And who knows? It's still early days for all of those accounts, but some of my fave posts from there might filter over to here as well, so stay tuned!

Prompt #57 😂 with Sweet Pea?

this is short but cute, thanks for the request!

It was finals week, something that Southside High never took seriously. But, now with all of them being in Riverdale finals week was huge, they all sat at a large table. Their individual books scattered about, the table being littered with sticky notes and highlighters as they all desperately tried to cram any information they possibly could into their brains. She was more tense than usual, she was known as the jokester. Always saying something positive. She let out a huff as she shoved the page over to continue her reading. 

That was until the sound of Sweet Pea chomping on his gum pulled her out of her thoughts. She shot him a glare that could’ve set fire to his skin, he only responded with a wink and pop of a bubble. She huffed again and tried to focus on her reading. She was half way down the page when she heard a pen click. Over. And over. And again. She slammed the book shut earning a smile from Pea. “Does this mean we can take a break?” He looked to her hopefully.

“You know how people say their boyfriends inspire them to be a better person?”

He nodded not entirely sure where she was going with her point.

“You inspire my inner serial killer.”

I just got a mega new influx of followers which is just lovely. Welcome everyone! I’m glad you’re here. :D

Side note, you’re probably going to be seeing a hell of a lot of different stuff on this blog if it’s a random day when I’m actually on and posting, but the bulk of my original posts are video game memes/macros. I haven’t done any new ones in a while, and have an absolute metric shit ton of RDR2 pictures that I have yet to sort through for shit-posting, but if you’re trying to check out some of my slightly more up-to-date ramblings I made a Twitter to live-blog my experiences watching The Witcher on Netflix. GUESS WHO’S BACK?

*back again*

Hey guys!!! Long time no seeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long story short, I just moved into a new apartment and now I’ve finally got internet, which is a blessing and a curse… mainly because I’ve got a hell of a lot of RDR2 screencaps that I should be making memes out of pretty soon.

Anywho, glad to be back, and feel free to peruse the super long, super personal TL:DR life alert below the cut. XOXOXO - J (aka Salty-Geralty)

So. I really haven’t been off that long….haha. I queued up a post for the end of pride month back like a week before it ended, and haven’t been on since. It felt a lot longer because the last couple of weeks have been one hell of a crazy whirlwind. Some highlights include:

somehow spraining my neck and having to go to urgent care (I’m all better now but that shit sucked…)

going on a week-long vacation with the fam down at the beach which was actually the last time I was on Tumblr for extended periods of time

getting sick with a cold during said vacation and still somehow managing to pull my shit together enough to move into a new apartment

driving back from said beach vacation on three hours of hungover sleep to pack up my stuff over the weekend and move into a brand spanking new apartment that I am IN LOVE WITH, that’s like two feet walking distance from my job (recent transition from six years of 1-1.5 hour cross-state commuting on the daily)

helping my roommate unpack her multiple pieces of new furniture and carrying a good couple chunks of our furniture up to our bedrooms on the third floor (most of my stuff was taken up by movers thank the gods, but there were some straggler pieces…)

(side note kids: ALWAYS PAY FOR MOVERS, they are EVERYTHING)

going on a few dates with someone really nice that I’m actually going to be seeing this weekend

heading down to the beach for an additional Fourth of July trip with some friends from high school which was fabulous

aaannnnnnnnnnnd surviving multiple shitstorms at my newish job during our busy season and getting completely sideswiped by the fact that a colleague I’m covering for while she’s on “vacation” actually just resigned over the weekend, effective immediately (uncomfortable seal face.jpg)

Anywho, things are definitely great on the whole. I’m still working through a lot of the craziness of work/moving in/figuring out this whole adulting thing at 29 years old, BUT the good news is I’m actually feeling like a really good transition is in the making. :D

His knuckles were bruised and bloodied, his eye bruised and swollen, his lip was busted. You stood in the kitchen frowning at his current state as you wrapped a towel over the bag of frozen peas, bringing them over to him. He looked up at you, his face finally showing some sort of emotion. He had been frozen solid since he walked in the trailer, rough night you were guessing but you knew better than to ask. 

“Thanks” he muttered as he grabbed the homemade icepack from your hand and placing it on his eye. Leaning back into the couch and letting out a loud sigh.

“Do you want dinner? or anything?”

He shook his head.

“Are you sure, I don’t think you’ve eaten today”

“Yes (Y/N) I am sure, I’m not hungry”

You only nodded, you hated when he was like this. You felt helpless, not having a clue how to make your boyfriend feel better.

“I know you just want to help” his voice was softer now “but, I just need a minute to process tonight” he looked up to you

“I just want to be the girl who makes your bad days better.”

“and you are love, I just need some alone time” he stood, pressing a kiss to your forehead before heading to the bedroom for the night.

“Come on Pea it’s our six months” You pleaded trying to drag his attention from his Xbox. “I just want to get dinner” you sighed. You’d been at his house since around ten that morning, and he’d been in the same spot for four hours now. Sat cross-legged like a child in front of the TV like a small child. Jumping slightly and twitching around when something would happen in the game. “Babe I think this is a perfectly good date right here!” He shot you a quick smile before returning to his game. “No playing video games together is not considered a date.” “Hey, you’re not even playing!” He replied back ducking as if that would help him dodge what was happening in the game. You had sat on the couch before making your way over to him, sitting behind him and lightly tracing patterns on his back. You found yourself playing with his hair, leaning down to kiss his neck. “Hey babe, if you take me out tonight we can have fun when we get home” you suggested into his ear lightly. “Sex doesn’t make you any better at playing Overwatch.” You shoved him causing him to let out an “oof” “That’s it I’m hanging with Toni” you said standing from the floor.
