So happy I acquired a PS5 in December and another copy of Veilguard so I can have nicer screenshots of Rook x Harding. A crumb of serotonin in these troubling times.

ruan & margaret’s first point of call is the haven, the local name for the area including the dock where jory boscowan moors his boat, and the small stretch of beach where polgannon’s youth hang out.

jory, seth, mellyn & hedra all claimed to be in this area the afternoon of the murder, so ruan wants to check out the location and find out for himself how long it takes to get up to pol stones from here.

it’s a quiet day at the beach as polgannon’s teens are all at school, and the only person ruan & margaret encounter is caroline penhaligan, also enjoying a day off work. pleasure sim margaret takes the opportunity to slack off a little and persuades ruan to join her for some fun in the photobooth (no, not that kind!)

ruan doesn’t find anything suspicious in the area, but he does spot a pair of lost ballet shoes and a handheld game under a bench on the pier! these could only belong to verity penhaligan & jowan hammett - of course, the young couple has since broken up, so these must have been left here earlier in the week.

Everytime I see a BH in game I have to resist the urge to flirt with them because it would confuse my teammates... esp the person playing BH

It's a shame we can't fully play matchmaker for companions in Veilguard. I feel like there's some real opportunity for Taash x Bellara. Idk they just make more sense to me than Taash x Harding (although my Rook romanced Harding, so moot point for me).

Hear me out.

Both lost someone important to them (brother, mother).

One loves the treasure in the ruins, the other loves the history and science aspect.

One could grab hold of the other when they inevitably almost walk off a cliff because they're too distracted reading a new scroll or tablet they found.

I'm just saying.
