hi simblr, many of you are probably familiar with this:

It’s really annoying, but i noticed earlier that when i removed this mod (http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,94247.0.html) from my folder, the problem disappeared. The problem is that I consider that one of my “must have” mods… So i’m wondering if there’s a way to have that mod AND get rid of the unnamed wantable object problem? :o

so, from what i've read it's an issue that happens when you have a mod that affects wants or LTWs that wasn't updated after AL/M&G came out, so when a sim rolls a want for an object from one of those EPs it throws that 'error'. the solution would be making/finding a more up-to-date version of the mod in question but unfortunately that’s beyond my capabilities. i have the same issue with a different LTW mod - the missing wants are usually for a ceiling fan or green energy source, if that helps!

meanwhile, davyth’s last stop before returning home is to revisit the churchyard in the hope of finally seeing a ghost! despite stopping to pay his respects at several of the graves (like lowena hammett‘s here), he’s still not having any luck.

Those ghosts should come out - I used the ghost hack to set them as haunting.  Maybe you need to send Len there and play the lot a bit.  I know Lowena came out for him one night.

he does however find something interesting in one of the crypts below the church itself: some abandoned bottles of beer, and the urn belonging to infamous pirate mawgan penhaligan! turns out james & theo were right about there being a pirate ghost after all ;)

and have people been secretly meeting up in the crypt, or just paying their respects to the long-dead penhaligan ancestor?

davyth’s first stop is arthur hammet’s pharmacy to drop off some prescriptions and catch up with his friend. he also purchases some cologne, because who knows when that might come in use ;) penelope keeps stanley occupied in the meantime!

he also pops into marrek‘s office for a chat, but they’re interrupted by the arrival of adele. wonder if she’s still trying to dispute the contents of blaise’s will...

neither tremethyk sibling works on saturdays, so eva has the time to whip up some pancakes for breakfast.

davyth has some errands to run in town, so he brings stanley on the walk with him to kill two birds with one stone.

the pascoes have adjusted pretty well to their new arrival; leonard takes over baby duties in the evening, giving griselda chance to continue working on her novel, and nature lover theo is in a world of his own out in the garden until it’s time to go to bed.

meanwhile, at the church, leonard is gathering his congregation for today’s sermon and hoping to bring in some money in donations.

mellyn, abbie, and arthur are today’s audience. i’d like to think leonard’s sermon of the day is about not believing everything you’re told (*cough* by cedric *cough*)

when leonard says everyone’s welcome at his church he really means it! i’m not sure even he can manage to convince the local grand vampire countess cecile to set foot inside, though :’)

pascoe: 4th november

i decided to return the pascoes to their originally intended place in the rotation, so we’re back to visit leonard and family now!

theo is the kind of studious child who always wants to get his homework done in time, so after a quick breakfast with his dad he gets right to it.

which leaves him the rest of the day to do as he pleases! with his parents busy at the church and looking after baby benedict, this means staying in his pj’s all day, picking fruit in the garden, and playing with cottesloe :3

the impromptu date continues to go well, and cedric even manages to flirt successfully...until he tells a dirty joke that chesten really isn’t into!

somehow though, he manages to salvage things and ends his first ever date with his first ever kiss! and immediately rolled the wants to woohoo, and make out with three different people. stay classy, cedric.

we’ve established from the timelines that cedric couldn’t have been the main culprit, as he was seen prior to 15:00 gossiping with tomas cardew. but i’m still not ready to rule him out of knowing something about the murder, given the placing of the ‘occult ritual’ things at the scene, which a) could’ve been sourced from the church, and b) could be interpreted as an attempt to frame rozen, who we know cedric has a strong dislike for (whereas leonard does not).
