At Windsor Castle, there’s a room housing Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, which once belonged to Mary of Teck, Queen Elizabeth II’s grandmother. “Filled with thousands of objects made by leading artists, designers and craftsmen, nearly all on the tiny scale of 1:12...no detail was forgotten. Among the most striking features [is] the library, bursting with original works by the top literary names of the day.”
In the gift shop, you can buy blown-up versions of the tiny books -- but they’re still about half the size of a normal book! My mom gave me a copy of J. Smith: A Fairy Story by Fougasse for my 19th birthday last year, and it’s pretty cute :)
