So here's something near and dear to my heart. J-FLAG has launched a fundraising campaign for their Jamaican Pride event. I've interned with this organization and I'm still involved with them. They are one of the main LGBT advocacy groups in Jamaica and they do AMAZING work year round. As we wrap up Pride month, let's take a moment to appreciate the jubilation, empowerment, opportunities and, of course, pride that the event brings to the LGBT community here in the US. Now, we've all heard about Jamaica and the difficulty of being queer there.
