Harlequin fans gather around for I have a prompt for you.

So I have no doubts that Harlequin feels like a burden since he says some shit like, "Oh, it's adorable that you're worried about me~!" when he's in your apartment. Plus, Doctor has stated that he smiles to hide his emotions and doesn't value his importance to everyone else.

I know Harlequin expresses his emotions differently and might not do this, but what if we had that same struggle, and if Harlequin sees it when he's more comfortable with being open to us, he he holds our hand says something in the matters of...

"Dear one... you've always tried to be there for me. I'm not sure how or why, but I think I should return the favor, yeah?"

Also Harlequin's birthday is in exactly one week, time to get planning.

I may be obsessed with Harlequin but I can't stop thinking about if we told Pierrot that we liked the sound of the bell jingles on his costume, he would move his head (I'm thinking side to side) so he makes sure you can hear them at any given moment. Even when it's just sitting in silence, he knows how much the sounds of bells are comforting to you.

Almost 4am Julia rambles but I am so dumb I didn't even notice this tiny detail

Harlequin seems like he absolutely hates this, but he is still letting us hug him.

If he really didn't want this, the first thing he would have said is "stop hugging me," but he couldn't do anything but question it when it first happens because, as we know, he's not used to physical affection, especially from humans. All of the other humans hated on the circus and even burned it down, and he, like the others, were taught by Jester that humans are not kind and are harmful creatures. He's clearly proven wrong here, and he doesn't want to believe it.

This tiny little detail truly shows that even though he may have this "bad boy persona" and this sexually driven freak (no pun intended), he can be a sad guy and craves genuine adoration from a human.

Quick ramble

I can't stop thinking of Harlequin straight up breaking his persona. Like him being genuine. Not like in a "I'm slowly warming up to you" way, but in an immediate breaking point kind of way.

Think about it, if the M/C gets severely physically hurt if not die, he'd absolutely break. Heck, maybe even blame himself. He can hold in the persona easily, even when the M/C feels down in the dumps in any capacity but Harlequin also seems somewhat genuine about it (since he has stated he knows what to say to cheer them up), but if that kind of stuff happened, I can only imagine the panic he would have. Not sure if this will be 100% accurate to his character, but it's still fun to think about.

Harlequin fans, we gotta feed each other and make him cry like the bitch he is.

MORE HARLEQUIN ANALYSIS/THEORIES

So the 2nd part of the 6th part of the round 2 AMA (confusing to say, I know) was released today...

This guy really gave away how he really feels big time. Harlequin, what do you mean you "If you think I deserve that kind of love..."?????

I don't know how I come to this assumption but maybe Harlequin has that perverted personality so he can feel more wanted???? Something fucking tells me that he does not crave to be wanted but instead to be needed, and knowing how you showed Pierrot kindness and is obsessed with you, maybe Harlequin finally gets that chance???

I mean, we can clearly see it in Jester's tent that he was envious of Pierrot and Columbina's relationship. And if you look closely when Harlequin is eating Columbia, he's shedding a tear. In the end, it seems like he regrets what he did for whatever reason, so that might be why he says he doesn't deserve genuine love???

I could talk about that in its own post but I think we need more content. Also, honestly, I do need to put a little more thought into the "Maybe it's not you that I love" and "One day maybe I can love you my way" shit that the actor for "The Poison" says in Jester's story.

All I wish right now is for Harlequin to call Pierrot a "mutt." Bonus if it's around us.

Just imagine it. We're talking to Harlequin in his tent or whatever, and either we mention Pierrot or you and Harlequin spot Pierrot in the distance, and Harlequin whispers under his breath, "Ugh, that mutt just won't quit, will he?"

C'mon, it makes perfect sense.

The Freak Circus fandom, hear me out.

So you know how Jester is so flexible to where he's the only one that can do a perfect split and the fandom collectively calls him "mother"???

TFC fandom I have a request to make with all of you.

We need more of the horror aspect.

Yeah I do enjoy (and make) the erotic stuff that the fandom has to offer, but... you guys realize this is a circus of horrors, right??? You realize there is a horror aspect to this game. Like all of the eyes staring at you in the café and then Pierrot straight up killing that rude lady in the café in front of us the day after. Right??????

I wanna be even more scared of them so badly. Unsettled, even.
