not me sitting here crying at the napkin holder scene just now like I’m 14 again. Michael’s journey to emotional intelligence up to this point is just hitting me hard for some reason right now 😂 this lonely kid who’s never known real love outside of max/Isabel who he envies. Then Maria just coming in & challenging him to feel & show his feelings & him wanting & trying to in his own stunted way 🥺 gah. Michael’s growth on this show is so lovely ❤️ anyway have or would you gif the scenes in that episode? Watching michaels face journey while he processes why maria was mad at him for not appreciating her helping him when he was sick and again when he was so invested in evening the score because he doesn’t know how else to deal with it. Then finally the scene where he did something really sweet for her and she chose to keep it because it was special and his little smile 🥺🥺 *flings into space* this episode has me in a chokehold rn and I’ve seen the show like 15 times wtf LOL. listen, I was thinking about michael earlier today and how in season 3 he's trying to be better for maria (he even says it aajsaksajkjsaj 'everything I'm doing is for you. to be better for you.') and how season 1 michael would laugh or get mad at the single thought of him caring for a human that much! srsly, michael did some growing up in the series!! i got nothing but respect for the guy and the ppl who wrote him and took him down that path. everybody know kyle won the character development contest but michael is a close fucking second and we love him for that ♥

NOOOOO, it's a napkin holder!!!! maria was so mad because he didn't thank her for the whole crystal circle to save his ass, lmao. well, she wasn't mad, she was just so worried about him. I love the things his face does in those scenes. when she confronts him, he thanks her and then maria says 'it's too late, pal' and walks away. HIS. FREAKING. FACE.

I love this so much. There’s so many things happening between them: feelings, anger; yet Kate still pulls her into a supportive hug. Perfect reaction. I love them romantically and am 100% here for it, but it’s fab so see their friendship not be forgotten in the mix.

Yeah! They’ve had a lot of great talks but as things have progressed recently, it’s become more heated and adversarial. I’m glad that at the core of it is still a solid friendship, Kate’s ready to offer support and Rana’s ready to accept it.
