I used to think that animal crossing is a game series about animals crossing the road and players control them by dodging so that they don't get hit by cars or other vehicles.

Then I heard about Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer and thought, "Huh. Do they use the characters and make a spinoff like they're animal version of sims."

Then I randomly decided to watch that So This is Basically Animal Crossing video on youtube when it popped up in my recommendations and I got. Really. Confused.
