Ok so why do people think hamsters are less of pets than a cat or a dog?? Every time I tell someone that the reason I’m sad is because my hamster died they give me this look like,”kid, its a hamster.” So what. A hamster is an animal too. A hamster is a companion too, I’m allowed to be sad about the loss of one.
