@jacebhw free!!!!! work bought me a laptop so I can work remotely. I won’t need to go into the office that I’ve been working at in vt because the office tasks have been transferred down to texas, so now I’m just doing computer-based things which I can do from home, and my personal macbook isn’t ideal for work stuff so here we are. free brand new laptop. life is good.

I have a rather irrational dislike for Carrie Underwood. Everything she says, does, or sings just feels so disingenuous. For a character, I hate Ron so so so much. Especially how he is in Deathly Hallows.

i am definitely not a carrie underwood fan. hate is a bit strong for me though just because i don’t know enough about her to really make that judgement. i mostly hate her music but before he cheats is a guilty pleasure jam lmfao

i’m definitely a fellow ron hater. like…… i GET his character…. i get what jkr is doing with him and i respect that kids who grow up without a lot of money have this character they can look up to in that regard (as well as ppl w/ insecurity issues). i just can’t stand his personality, especially in the later books. i can deal with him when he’s just a bit of a stubborn idiot in the earlier books, but in hbp+dh the way he treats lavender and hermione is so juvenile (like i know he’s a teenage boy but still) and giving harry a birthday present that’s a book like ‘how to seduce women’ was so fucking douchey. oh and i never got over him not believing harry about putting his name in the goblet of fire. ugh.
