RHAENYRA, JACE & MYSARIA HOUSE OF THE DRAGON (2022–)
This show's writers: Westerosi men are so sexist that they think women are too weak, feeble, pathetic, and not headstrong enough to rule. Ugh, how ignorant and wrong of them, amirite?
Also this show's writers: Anyway, here's the 10000th scene of Rhaenyra being weak, feeble, pathetic, and not headstrong enough to rule. She whimpers and feels conflicted killing the man who kickstarted this entire usurpation that led to the brutal deaths of her beloved sons. No, I see no contradiction here, why do you ask?
Anyway, could never be Book Rhaenyra:
Rhaenyra Targaryen seemed to find new strength after the loss of a second [son]. Jace's death hardened her, burning away her fears, leaving only her anger and her hatred. [...] She would rain down fire and death upon Aegon and all those who supported him [...]
Nor would Queen Rhaenyra sleep until she claimed her father's seat. So the torches were lit in the throne room, and the queen climbed the iron steps and seated herself [on the throne]. Stern-faced, still in her armor, she sat on high as every man and woman in the Red Keep was brought forth and made to kneel before her, to plead for her forgiveness and swear their lives and swords and honor to her as their queen.
Queen Alicent attempted to treat with her stepdaughter. [...] But Queen Rhaenyra rejected the proposal with scorn. "Do you mistake me for Mushroom?" she asked. "We both know how this council would rule." Then she bade her stepmother choose: yield or burn.
Bonus: How Book Rhaenyra treated someone who even dared question her sons' legitimacy, much less cause their brutal deaths.
The princess was not slow in answering this charge. She dispatched Prince Daemon to seize Ser Vaemond, had his head removed, and fed his carcass to her dragon, Syrax.

Need someone to talk to about jacenyra quick please
I keep seeing edits of Jace in that scene in s2 where Rhaenyra was like "I went to King's Landing to see Queen Alicent" and Jace is so so offended like "Alicent???????" the way I just know he was seething and deep down just wanted to start ripping his own hair out like "You! LEFT me here ALONE to go see you WHORE ex???????" how dare his mother leave him alone to go see Alicent. Baby boy was seething with jealousy and I love seeing it<3 His mama is supposed to be all for him<3 No backstabbing exs or otherwise occupied whore husbands can have her<3
In this broken home Everyone becomes predictable
I've discovered jacenyra (and I love it) but what abt lucnyra. that's her golden child. your telling me she didn't have much more of a soft for Lucerys.
