Ann Peebles - I Can't Stand The Rain
I’ve watched “The Wizard of Oz”. Well, I guess I rewatched it – I mean swear I’ve watched it when I was a kid but I don’t remember it at all. I mean – I do remember the plot but mostly from the adaptation called “The Wizard of the Emerald City” by A.Volkov which I read many times during my childhood and also watched many screen versions. So – “The Wizard of Oz”. Well, I was a little surprised that a part in Kansas is pretty long (about fifteen minutes only in the beginning). Also, what I wanted to say was that for its year (which is 1939) it’s very inventive and technically advanced and the idea that parts in Kansas are white and black and parts in the land of Oz are colourful is pretty cool. Well, some of the songs are catchy but I wasn’t very impressed by the music, even though I still understand that it’s undying classics.
