meet JACK HANSEN
JACK HANSEN (Josh Duhamel) -- 49, ‘retired’, though he does work intermittently as a substitute teacher at the Soleida Bay Little Island Middle School. He lives in The Cove, along with a number of other townies, and is way too into island life-- enough so that a lot of people accidentally mistake him for a tourist himself. Jack loves to lounge around the beach, fish, hike, sight see. The man NEVER grows tired of Soleida Bay. He grew up on the island in a very small family environment-- his mother died at a young age, and he and his younger brother were raised by their father. They were a predominantly blue collar family, struggling to make ends meet for a long while, until Jack’s dad passed away and a large life insurance endowment left him and his brother better off than they’d ever been.
POTENTIAL WCS:
WIFE (or possibly EX-WIFE) mother to one or both of his children.
OFFSPRING (x2) -- any gender, surname/maiden name HANSEN.
BROTHER -- younger brother, whom he grew up with. They can be close, or estranged.
BESTIE -- any gender, someone that Jack has likely been pals with since childhood. No matter how long they go without hangin’ out, they’re always gonna be like siblings.
