meet RAJU VISHNAVI

RAJU VISHNAVI (Anirudh Pisharody) -- 27 years old, works as a volunteer firefighter / EMT. Raj moved to the island about five years ago in a desperate attempt to shed the skin of his former life. He’s a lot happier here in Soleida Bay, and since the murders have started, he’s become way too interested in these slasher chronicles. His friends think he’s a bit of a weirdo for being so interested, but the baby-detective in him somehow thinks he might be able to help figure out who’s slicing and dicing the island apart.

POTENTIAL WCS:

THE FLING (any gender) -- Raju is notoriously unable to keep a relationship afloat. He’s obsessed with his career, works long hours, and has (recently) become unHINGED re: the slasher. So he tends to have flings coming and going.

SURPRISE RELATIVE (any gender) -- maybe a sibling, or a cousin? Someone who also has relocated to Soleida Bay, OR already lived here, and maybe that’s why he choose this lil’ island over all the rest.

CO-WORKERS (any gender) -- the people he spends the absolute MOST time with. They can be either firefighters, EMT’s, or both.

Just a jumping off point. I am excited to plot just about any kind of connection for Raj!

meet JACK HANSEN

JACK HANSEN (Josh Duhamel) -- 49, ‘retired’, though he does work intermittently as a substitute teacher at the Soleida Bay Little Island Middle School. He lives in The Cove, along with a number of other townies, and is way too into island life-- enough so that a lot of people accidentally mistake him for a tourist himself. Jack loves to lounge around the beach, fish, hike, sight see. The man NEVER grows tired of Soleida Bay. He grew up on the island in a very small family environment-- his mother died at a young age, and he and his younger brother were raised by their father. They were a predominantly blue collar family, struggling to make ends meet for a long while, until Jack’s dad passed away and a large life insurance endowment left him and his brother better off than they’d ever been.

POTENTIAL WCS:

WIFE (or possibly EX-WIFE) mother to one or both of his children.

OFFSPRING (x2) -- any gender, surname/maiden name HANSEN.

BROTHER -- younger brother, whom he grew up with. They can be close, or estranged.

BESTIE -- any gender, someone that Jack has likely been pals with since childhood. No matter how long they go without hangin’ out, they’re always gonna be like siblings.

These are really just some ideas as a jumping off point. I am down for basically anything, and so is Jack!
