The next day. It finally stopped to rain and we got rewarded with a double rainbow! The Boys spent the rest of the day before inside, learning and doing their homework. Divided in two groups, to keep Kiyoshi away from Jack. And Vlad and Jeb thought I'd be better to keep their distance to Jack too, until they could ask Noxee what this strange attraction towards him means.

Vlad and Jeb are training outside. Keeping an eye on Kiyoshi, who is far, far away again. They are so cute. Fighting like baby cats ^^' Maybe Vlad is going easy on Jeb, who just had his first fight in their last lesson :3

Saiwa, Ji Ho and Jack went down to the dungeons, to the Defense against the Dark Arts classroom. Training Ji Ho, who missed their first lesson. The majority of the poisonous arrows are still flying in Jack's direction ö.Ö' (They might still be under the command of Ms Coombes ^^') Jack wonders what this lightning stroke might have done to him. He's sure the weird attraction, Vlad, Jeb (and Kiyoshi) feel towards him, has to do with this accident. And Ji Ho got overwhelmed by his feelings. He's so angry! He never felt so angry before. There had been lots of ocassions in his life that would have really deserved the anger he feels now. But his feelings had been buried, so nothing had ever hit him this hard. He's angry, jealous, upset, sad... - that Vlad feels attracted to Jack! And he even knows how silly this is. But he can't help it. It fell over him like a fishernet with lead weights, pinning him impotent to the sea bed - at the mercy of his feelings. Sure, he could take a sip of Noxee's potion to get rid of these feelings, but he decided to endure them. Even the bad ones. All his feelings are a part of him now. And he'd missed them for so long. So he's channeling his frustration into the punching bag, not even noticing an arrow sticking in his arm...

Sai is reading out loud again from their school books for the others. Also dodging the arrows.

Back at the Duelling Grounds, Vlad and Jeb are still training. Jack and Jeb are the physically strongest of all of them, but Vlad, with his vampiric powers, is not to be underestimated. Plus, he has more fighting experience than Jeb. Jeb is doing surprisingly well, though...

... until they heard someone approching. It's Greg! They'd all been hoping Noxee would come back so they could discuss Jack's strange attraction on them and, of course, to bring them some good news about Jack and Kiyoshi's mateship... Jeb got distracted and Vlad was able to put him to the ground.

Greg: "Good to see you improved. So, how is he doing?" Jeb really hoped to talk to Noxee about this. Jack made it very clear he doesn't want Greg to know. Greg is staring at him with his piercing orange eyes and Jeb doesn't know what to say: "Oh - uhm. So Jack..." Greg: "Not Jack! Kiyoshi." (Greg and Kiyoshi seem to have a surprisingly strong bond...) Vlad decided to redeem poor Jeb: "Still unaltered, I fear."

They called up the others and met in the Conference Hall. And finally Greg spilled the good news! Jack and Kiyoshi are 'allowed' to be, according to Ms Coombes, mates, just mates or whatever! Yay! They must have weighed the advantages of Jack helping Kiyoshi rooting in the here and now again over Jack's bad influence on him o.o

But the joy was only short-lived. Greg immediately hopped to the next topic. Greg: "You have something to tell me?" Jack: "No!?"

Greg: "Did you really think you could keep this from me?" Omg! Of course Greg would sense that something is weird! Does he really know Jeb, Vlad and probably Kiyoshi (Jack isn't really convinced of that, since Kiyoshi is a deity now) feel attracted to him? How embarrassing! Jack just wants to hide somewhere!

Jack: "I'm not going to have a discussion about this with you." Greg: "Fine. I'll call Stefan. Meet him at the beach so you don't further stir the others. Get this solved!" Jack: "Yes, Sir." TMI: After Greg rescued baby Jack from the Lab, he brought him to 'Uncle' Stefan, a close friend, where Jack grew up.

Despite Jack's flying experience from his coma, it took him and Vlad quite a while to maneuver B.D's stolen borrowed shuttle into Great A'Tuin's belly... The droids are almost finished unloading and about to head back to the outpost, and Jeb and Kiyoshi started the repairs.

Jeb is a bit nervous to go back to his and Sai's quarters. Last time, after their tantra practise, Sai and him had been in a such state of pure bliss, he almost forgot how much he fears to hurt Sai. And he totally would have woohooed him - almost! So he tries to avoid it... Jeb: "Hey, we could try out the hot tub after we finished. I still feel the chill of that icy outpost in my bones." Kiyoshi: "Oh, maybe later? I already promised Jack to massage the cold out of his bones when I'm done here ^^' " Jeb: "Oh - ok..."

And despite Vlad's efforts with that unforgettable kiss, Ji Ho felt unwell. But by far not as worse as before. Two rides in a short amount of time just took their toll on him. So Sai sent Ji Ho to their quarters to take a shower and rest until Vlad is on board to take care of him.

Eventually Vlad and Jack are finally back on board - the shuttle secure in Great A'Tuin's belly. Captain Sai: "Vlad, take care of Ji Ho. He needs you. And since the communications are finally working again, Jack and I are going make some calls and reassure Rubyn and Noxee we're ok." Vlad hissed and just wanted to start ranting about how wrong it is Ji Ho and him have to perform physical intimacy to make the bond happy and how much he loathes taking advantage of Ji Ho's weaknesses and... But before he could even start, Sai said: "Stop it, Vlad. It gets tiring. Ji Ho can feel your disgust and he'll think you're disgusted by him. You love Ji Ho - and he loves you, and nothing is holding you back. So will you just stop yourself from avoiding to let yourself be happy? If you can't do it for yourself, do it for Ji Ho, dammit." Jack nudged Vlad: "Just go."

And so Vlad tried to just think of nothing and went to their quarters. Where Ji Ho already waited for him, even though he felt so weak. Vlad embraced him and Ji Ho shyly sneaked his ice cold hands under Vlad's cardigan. He needs a bit more of his bonded to recover...

Vlad is an undead vampire and he has not that much body heat, but still more than his cold-blooded, deep frozen mermaid. They went over to their bed. Ji Ho: "You don't have to do this. I could take a hot bath or..." Vlad, trying hard to not show Ji Ho his feelings: "Don't worry."

They undressed and Vlad tucked Ji Ho under their warm blanket - close to him. Ji Ho still shivered, but not as much as before. Vlad: "Better now?" Ji Ho snuggled even closer and whispered: "Mhm. Thank you." And soon he fell fast asleep in Vlad's arms.

Meanwhile at the bridge. So good to be able to finally contact their friends again! They'd already called Rubyn to fill her in but Dayn and Kesuke had already told her everything so that had been a short call.

Then they called Noxee. Noxee: "Babies! I already heard everything but it's so good to see you!"

Noxee: "The staff of the Bunker is having a christmas party tonight and the sexy elf will soon join me to ... erect my christmas tree - if you know what I mean?" Noxee winked twice and Jack felt his anger boiling up again. The 'staff' of the Bunker only consists of 2 employees in total - so Jack knows exactly who that elf is!

In the background, 'Rockin' around the Christmas Tree' was playing:

'You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear Voices singing, let's be jolly Deck the halls with boughs of holly Rockin' around the Christmas tree Have a happy holiday Everyone dancin' merrily In the new old-fashioned way'

And a few seconds later, Jack saw that damn 'elf' appear on the screen! Noxee: "Aouww there he is! Look at all those muscles! He'll raise that tree in no time! Babies, I gotta go! Love you, bye!"

The sexy elf dragged hot santa away and they melted into a festive hot and sexy kiss... Jack: "They've forgotten to disconnect again! He does that on purpose! Showing me what I can't have - because he'd stolen it from me!"

Jack stomped off the bridge. Saiwa took a last look at the screen, disconnected the call and sighed from the depths of his soul. Will Jack ever stop hating Greg for being with Jack's first love?

When Jack entered their quarter, Kiyoshi and his magic hands knew exactly how to make his mate forget his anger. Jack moaned: "Don't stop... Just - a bit deeper... Ohh that's the spot!"

And after a long shift and finally setting course for Batuu to rescue B.D, Sai and Jeb set course for another visit in the land of bliss... (In their outfits from the 70s Party.)

Beltane - Part 4 It all starts -> here (incl prequel)

The Boys spend a wonderful day together and it was so good to see Noxee again (and even Greg ;) They'd been on their own in the Otherworld (only with Arturo from time to time) for months now. Time for the fireworks and 'traditional' (says Greg) Beltane Canons before Ji Ho's spell fades!

And then the 'traditional' Beltane Fire broke out! (We also had a fire at Beltane last year...) The whole Beltane 2023 episodes are -> here

Greg to Jack: "Is this your fault?" Jack: "What? No!" (of course it is -.-)

The spell faded slowly and it's time to part. Greg, Jeb, Kiyoshi and Vlad will stay here, at Hotel Elvis, and Noxee, Jack and Saiwa will spend the night at the Campeggio (campsite), where the Boys had spent their last summer holidays. Before they left, Vlad went over to them to charge the Bond. He felt that Ji Ho will need more than the usual today because he is so exhausted from the ride and the spell. But he wasn't with the others.

Vlad: "Where is he?"

Saiwa: "We brought him to your room. He's too tired to make it all the way up to the campeggio. You will care for him. Properly." Vlad: "What? I told you I wont go any further with him! The spell is still affecting me. If I have to be near him, alone with him - I am not that strong. When he tries to kiss me again..." Saiwa: "He's your bonded and you already did anything imaginable with him! Ji Ho did everything so we can spend this day together! You know he's the most sensible of us and how much he suffers because we are apart from each other! We are going to do our best to be together again with the help from Tiny Can and the Therapy Game and until then, Ji Ho's well-being is your concern!"

Saiwa: "Have a good night!" Vlad to Jack: "Stay with us!" Jack chuckles: "Vlad. I love you - but I won't do that. He needs you." Saiwa: "Let's go, Jack!"

Vlad sighed and went upstairs to their room. He refuses to get physical with Ji Ho as long as he is not able to love him. But Vlad also knows how much Ji Ho longs for physical intimacy with him. When Vlad entered the room, he found Ji Ho collapsed on the floor. He was so exhausted, he must have been trying to take a shower to hydrate but it wasn't enough. They need to charge the bond. Thoroughly.

Ji Ho knows that Vlad is only reluctantly charging the Bond and refuses any interaction that involves anything romantic until he's able to love him.

Vlad approached Ji Ho to embrace him to charge the Bond. Ji Ho: "Vlad. This won't be enough - I tried everything to avoid it but I..." Vlad: "Don't worry. Come."

Ji Ho: "Forgive me." Vlad: "Shh."

It's the same room where Jeb and Sai spent their second date!

Ji Ho: "I will be yours, I promise." Vlad: "I know. Don't worry. Do whatever is necessary for you to heal. I will be fine." Ji Ho: "Wait for me." Vlad: "Always." (They are speaking of Ji Ho's ingame wedding with Caleb.)

Maybe as a reward for repairing his friend, the creature showed Jack the hydroponics! The Boys are slowly running out of stocks - plus they have an additional (heavy) eater on board now ö.ö

The plants here are well cared of by the devices and bots - and already harvestable! Jack is fascinated by everything space and scifi and exploring alien plants is a long-held dream of his ^^' Jack called Jeb over, since the two of them are in charge of their greenhouse and garden at their home too. Jeb was still trying to repair the ship, but food has priority atm. He's is not quite as excited as Jack...

Jeb: "Only - we don't know any of these flora - and if they're edible. Sure, some of the harvestables look familiar, but they grow on these unfamiliar plants..." But he started to research anyway ^^'

Jack spotted the Sixam Fly Trap: "Well, I surely remember this little guy!"

(The Boys had a Sixam Fly Trap at the Invisible Farm in Summer 2023. Jack thought it was cute that it looked like Saiwa and he teased him with a photo of it ^^') It looks like this when it just snapped a fly. Being proud of himself.

Jack took a photo of this one too: "It's so cute! We could put the photo in your quarters." But Jeb stopped him. Sai is already stressed enough... (The post-it below the photo says: "Captain Saiwa II. Just as sharp-toothed and snappy as his namesake.")

Great A'Tuin's communication system still doesn't work (good job, alien creature...), so they have no access to external data or intergalactic search engines. But they could check the ship's internal database. And that's what they did. There they are! Sheets with information about all of the plants (created by Albaleyh herself when she used to work here). And they are all classified as edible. Some are even of medical use! Jeb: "After we resolved the food issue, we could check if any of them could be of help for Ji Ho's travel sickness!" Jack: "That would be awesome!"

Jeb and Jack picked a few of the strange vegetables and fruits and went over to the kitchen. Great A'Tuin's database even offers recipes and information about how to prepare them and which parts to use. Jack: "I really hope we don't end up like the poor little guys in those jars after eating these dishes... But somehow we'll have to find out if we can really eat them - and survive." For a moment Jeb considered if he should say goodbye to Saiwa before dinner ö.Ö'

But then the 'Curious Pizza' was ready to eat and Jack couldn't wait to taste it. It's been too long. Jack loves his pizza, no matter the toppings ^^'

Jeb: "Eh... if something happens. Tell Saiwa I love him." Jack: "Hey, let's keep a little optimism here!"

Lol, Jeb set the table with a flask of medicine for each ^^'

(And, of course, Jack refused to eat sitting at the table -.- I already replaced the tables and locked the door. Last time Kiyoshi and Jack ran outside... Next time I'd locked the door and they sat to eat on the cooler box or ate while standing omg... I mean, they already sit and have the food in front of them, why pick it up and go somewhere else?)

Jack: "But it was quite delicious! If we die, we die satisfied and well sated, hm?" If you have a friend like Jack, you don't need no enemies hahaha

Jack already had a stressful day. And on top of that, Greg called him ^^' He surely does not want to be like Greg - ever! And the only one to ever put an effort in trying to raise Jack was Uncle Stefan. (And Saiwa hahaha)

And then the first of his 'Curious Pizza' vanished right from the oven! So he had to make another one... Maybe the creature will find it ^^' Or the Boys - when it starts to smell ö.ö (I already wondered why Sai is complaing in the pic above. There is no dirt ö.ö (edit: It was a bunch of hairs from the cat creature, which was just as grey as the spaceship's floor...)

The Boys also have a R̂ān h̄ạw mum (=thai for 'corner store') now. There's a copy of LY behind the counter. They live in the Otherworld now and they prefer to be home alone (for security matters). Not even Arturo, the only other creature here, knows where they live. And no one can see or enter their lot anyway ;)

This is both an online store to sell their produce and a shop for them to buy stuff Noxee sends them. The tales of the Boys' adventures spread among the creatures and they are quite famous in certain circles ^^

I love the little 'vegetable tent' that came with For Rent.

There is also Kiyoshi's 'Moonchild' cheese!

And Jack can sell the vegetables from his garden here. And his nectar.

There will be no other customers than the Boys here but they ship their produce to the Muggle World with the device Saiwa built. There's a newer, smaller version now. The cameras show the online customers the wares and Sai also made a store page with the descriptions and prices. Then Ji Ho packs and ships to Noxee and she sends them to the customers in the Muggle World.

They call Noxee to thank her. This device is also the only way for them to 'remote communicate'. No internet, no landline, no cellphone network here - nothing ö.ö

Noxeema: "My Babees! I miss you!" They chatted for a while but it's clear that Noxee is dying to get back to Greg ^^' After they ended the call, Jack was jealous, as always: "Omg, what does she see in him!? They are together 25/7 and still can't get enough of each other!" But Jack also never understood what Kiyoshi saw in him. (That's love, Jack.) Sai: "I envy them..." Ji Ho sighed: "Couple Goal."

Jack found the 'Stranger Section'...

Sai to Ji Ho: "Was this really necessary? As if he's in need of even more weird ideas!" Ji Ho: "That was actually Vlad's idea ^^'"

And then Jack found the Armadillos... Jack: "A blue version! I've never seen this before! Look how small and cute they are! Can please I have one?"

Saiwa: "No! We have no money for this nonsense! Don't forget we have to payback Rubyn and the others." Poor Jack...

They paid

and Sai checked the new 'Postage and Communication Device' aka 'PACkeD'

And when he left the shop...

After Ji Ho opened his Pandora's Box stuffed with all the feelings he'd hidden deep down inside to survive, they all got kicked out of the game. After Vlad and Kiyoshi, who hadn't been ingame, helped them up and checked if they were unscathed... Vlad: "Where is Ji Ho?!" They couldn't ask Tiny Can - the overload has blewn his circuits ö.ö Saiwa: "Gods - is Ji Ho stuck ingame? How are we supposed to get him out when Tiny Can's broken?" Jack was shaking: "It's all my fault. I wanted the investigations to continue."

Before Vlad could take something - or someone - apart in his grief and anger, they heard an incoming call from the computer, which luckily hadn't been destroyed, like poor Tiny Can. It's Noxee! And Greg. Noxee: "Babies! Ji Ho is save! Don't worry, he'll be fine. We need you to leave Tomarang for a while. Pack your stuff together and take the train tomorrow. I'll send you the tickets."

And - as always - before they could ask or say anything: Noxee: "Huh, already that late! We have to... prepare *winks*. Bye Babies! See you there!" Jack: "Argh! Can't they keep their hands to themselves! Turn that off! He stole my girl in this world and even ingame!" As if things weren't worse enough!

So Ji Ho is safe. But Noxee said he will be fine. Means he isn't fine right now? Vlad was still raging. He wasn't even able to feel Ji Ho through their bond! But Noxee wouldn't lie to them. Ji Ho is safe. Even though Jack was at the verge of loosing it himself, he dragged Vlad (and Kiyoshi - as counsel ö.Ö) over to his houseboat, to watch a Star Wars movie. This always calms them down and distracts them - at least for a while. And Jack hopes Deity Kiyoshi has one of his 'here' days and could cast a little soothing aura on Vlad... or whatever he was able to do. Little Goat: "I wonder where we are going to go?" Kumo: "Who knows? The poor Boys." Little Goat: "Who could have forseen that, though..."

When they entered the houseboat, Jack's TV was running? Jack: "Huh, I don't remember leaving it on. And I never watch the X Files..."

Skully: "Hey, Buddy! Come join us!" Skully? How the hell did he make it out of the game! ö.ö And what is Malfoy doing here?

Jack isn't able to deal with anything else today. So he just shoved in a bigger sofa and they watched the X Files together... Skully: "Everything's gonna be alright, you'll see."

'Good friends we have, oh, good friends we've lost Along the way, yeah In this great future, you can't forget your past So dry your tears, I say, yeah'

Leaves Saiwa and Jeb, alone together for the first time since... uh it's been months! To make it less awkward - and because Jeb knows that it helps Sai to run when he's upset (usually Jack says/does something stupid so Sai runs after him ^^') - he urged Sai to accompany him. It's raining, but they didn't bother.

Saiwa looked at Jeb and he was thankful he was acting somewhat 'normal'. They ran quietly for a while. Even though Jeb must hurt from their separation just as much as he does, and must be upset about the latest happenings - he's Ji Ho's best friend after all -, he's still solid like a rock and devoted to him and tries to help him where he can. And Sai remembered of one of their happier days, running together through the rain... How he wants those days back. Jeb: "Look forward or you'll trip ^^' We can't have another of us injured." Right, forward it goes...

Sai couldn't stand going home yet - back to all the madness that awaits them there, so they went to the Night Market. Sai: "I'm going to ask Ms Coombes to replace me. I failed utterly as our leader. I'm too weak for this - even broke down." Jeb: "None of us could have avoided what happened. And no one else could have brought us this far. Look at all the things you've already achieved, hm? How well you did. And we already promised we'd carry the burden together with you. Just let us. We need you." He wanted to add 'I need you' but it's neither the right time nor the right place for this.

Jeb: "Van... (It's not the right time and place to call Sai 'Vanië', Jeb's nickname for Sai, either) uhm, I don't want to upset you any further, but the monolithic figure on the platform Jihovere stood on and raised the storm - it was the same as in the cave Ji Ho's grandfather held him capture with his brother... I noticed it when I freed him." Sai: "What? No way he made it into the game, did he?" Jeb: "I hope not. We'll have to discuss this tomorrow with the elders from the Resistance. Even if it 'only' was a 'reminder' for us from Tiny Can to finally start to learn how to protect ourselves against the Siren's Spells. It's too severe to ingore it any longer." Sai: "I'm not sure if I can lead you through all this, Jeb." Jeb: "I know you will. Together with us, hm? Don't give up on us." He also meant Sai shouldn't give up on them - and their love. But he didn't say it out loud either.

No one noticed yet, but Skully wasn't the only thing that made it out of the game. The sword Jihovere pulled out of her King's statue's heart was lying on Ji Ho's memorabilia rack ö.Ö'

Jeb's Investigations - Part 4

Poor confused Jeb was still shocked after he found Jack's corpse in the basement under Greg's Jeweller's Shop, when he heard footsteps coming nearer - and Greg appeared right behind him! His fate is sealed - there's no escape. Soon his own dead body would lie right beside Jack's... And this will also be the end of the Therapy Game. No way anyone will ever be able to log in again as long as Greg is committing his monstrous deeds - randomly killing whomever he choses. (At least we found out who the murderer is? ö.ö')

Greg: "Ah you're already here. Now don't act stupid. You know I can't transform in public. You should have really gotten used to it by now, son. So! Let's get ready. It's almost sunrise." Ready for what? What is going on here? Jeb isn't able to form any coherent thought. He already has winded up his life and prepared to die. (But Jeb really wishes Greg wouldn't call each of them 'son'. When Greg became their PE teacher, he started to call Jack 'son'. And later it had turned out that Jack really is Greg's son ö.Ö')

Greg: "Are you just going to stand there? Begin already!" Jeb blinked cofusedly: "Begin?" Greg: "Gods! Begin to cast your spell!" Jeb: "Spell?" Greg: "What have they done to you in Bacalao Bay!? We talked it through! You're the witch. Cast whatever. We need to bring him in the vertical again. You surely have some lifting spells? Raise him, erect him, cock him. Do whatever is necessary! And do it NOW!"

Ouf. This is too much input bombarding Jeb all at once. He is stressed beyond measure and so his brain stopped thinking at all. He just let his magic flow.

Greg adjusted the levers at the strange apparatus: "Now we're talking." Apparantly Greg cut the ruby Valerian and Jeb found into a heart shape and now it was floating in the liquid tank of the machine.

A bright beam emerged. Greg threw his paws up in the air and started to laugh manically ö.Ö'

'One shaft of light that shows the way No mortal man can win this day It's a kind of magic'

The beam eventually hit Jack - the ruby heart it was carrying slowly sinking into his body! Jeb couldn't believe his eyes.

'The bell that rings inside your mind Is challenging the doors of time It's a kind of magic'

'The waiting seems eternity The day will dawn of sanity (Ooh ooh ooh ooh) Is this a kind of magic? It's a kind of magic'

Greg noticed that Jeb's spell flickered: "Don't you dare stopping! Keep going!"

It seems as if Jack is smiling...

'This flame that burns inside of me I'm hearing secret harmonies It's a kind of magic - Queen

The beam ceased - and Jack stirred!

While his body fully absorbed the ruby heart ö.ö right through his clothes and skin and ribcage!

Greg: "That was close. The sun is just beginning to rise." Just as Jack... It looks as if he's grasping at Jeb.

Jack was still shaky on his legs, so he sat down again. And just looked confused.

Then he looked expectantly at Jeb. Is Jack a zombie now? Or a ghul? Is he dangerous? Or hungry? (TMI: Reminds me of November 2022, when we asked the same questions about Luci ^^')

Greg: "I'll have to go open the shop. You look after him." Yeah - that was when Jeb finally was able to think again. And he thought that now definitely is the time to log out. Now as in -> right now.

As blank as Jack's brain might be after he returned from the dead, he apparently hasn't forgotten how much he hates Greg ^^'
