Jeb's Investigations - Part 5
After their meeting, Jeb agreed to log in again for further investigations. Obviously NPC Jeb decided to sleep a bit. He'd been awake for 24 hours or more. And it seems still zoned out NPC Jack is subconsciously roleplaying with Logan the happenings that lead to his death ö.ö' (and he's taking a look into the future!). Better pay attention, Jeb!
And then Greg entered and it was over. Jeb was wide awake at an instant!
Greg: "Why are you still here?! You know Jack can't live on for long with a crystal heart. It just grants him some extra time. Now go already and find his heart. And don't you dare loose that valueable gem when you're done!" Jeb doesn't know where to search for Jack's heart but one of their ideas had been to go back to the crime scene, so he just said: "Ok."
They left Saarburg in the pouring rain and Greg shouted after them again that Jeb should never lose that ruby heart. Jeb sighed.
After a while they came near the crime scene again. At least it had stopped raining. But their clothes are still soaking wet -.-
When Valerian became aware of where they were heading, he stopped and yelled 'Run!' to Lunatic ö.Ö'
And then he raised and threw Jeb off his back!
Poor Jeb. Again he has no idea what's going on here! And of course he feels the pain from hitting the ground! All the air was kicked out of his lungs. Ouf!
When he finally was able to breathe again and got up, all he saw was Valerian galloping away behind Lunatic - and Jack!
Valerian to Lunatic: "RUN!" And Lunatic ran.
No way Jeb will be able to catch up with them. He called after them but none of them listened and came back. Jack is still with his head in the clouds...
Well, Jeb was near the crime scene anyway so he could just go over and look for evidence he might have overlooked the first time he was here... Walking in these wet clothes on a hot day was even worse than riding in them.
From a radio at farm nearby he heard music playing:
'Into the great wide open Under them skies of blue Out in the great wide open A rebel without a clue'
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Into the great wide open (The MV is worth a watch. Featuring Johnny Depp, Faye Dunaway, Matt Leblanc, Terrence Trent Darby, and Cynna Phillips!)
Yeah, that's how he felt... like a rebel without a clue.
But at the end of his uncomfortable walk, he found something blinking in the grass, right next to the place where Jeb found the pawprints! How is it possible he overlooked it?
A horseshoe? Wait a minute! Lou mentioned that Lunatic lost a horseshoe! Is this his? And does this explain why they ran away? Because Lunatic killed Jack? ö.Ö' And Valerian covers him because he loves him? (Now that's kind of sweet ^^')
to be continued...

Saarburg - Germany | Castle - Swan - Rainbow - Waterfall
A daytrip to the small town of Saarburg. The waterfall in the city centre is the main attraction, but there is also a pittoresc old town with cafes at the river, a castle and churches.
Saarburg in Rheinland-Pfalz, Southwestern Germany, lies on the banks of the Saar River in the hilly country a few kilometers upstream from the Saar's junction with the Mosel river. Now a tourist attraction, the Leuk River flows into the town center and makes a spectacular drop before joining the larger Saar that bisects the town. The waterfall is the result of a 13th-century project to redirect the Leuk through the city center.
The history of the city begins with the construction of the now-ruined castle by Graf Siegfried of Luxembourg in 964. It received its town charter in 1291. The city has a bell foundry, the Glockengießerei Mabilion, which has been in operation since the 1770s, and as of 2003 was the only one in Germany that makes bronze bells.
From 1945 to 1948 Saarburg was occupied by troops from Luxembourg. From July 1946 to June 1947 Onsdorf, in its then municipal boundary, formed part of the Saar Protectorate. French troops complemented the occupation until 1955.
