Doesn’t look familiar - if he had seen the man before, he was probably too drunk on Rum to remember. Whoever he is, he talks as if he’s important. Must not be important enough if Jack doesn’t know who he is. “I think it is you who doesn’t know who you’re dealing with, mate.” 

Does he tell him or does he let him guess? He supposes he’ll give him one chance to recognize him - surely he knows who he is! He’s become famous around the seven seas by now!

With Jack, who knows which is which and when? He’s got some bad luck but this man has a story and well, the pirate can not help but be curious about it.

He really shouldn’t have drunk that much Rum, he knows that now. But, it isn’t like he’s had much of a problem before now. He’s a pretty heavy drinker and built up quite the tolerance, he rarely ever gets sick from drinking. He’s a pirate, after all - pirate’s don’t get sick after drinking!

And yet, the pounding in his head is unmistakable. The taste in his mouth. It’s awful. His face scrunches up and Will’s voice reaches his ears. Jack has to bite back a groan, yep - definitely hungover. “Nay. I’m good, mate. Could do without the yelling, though.” Is he yelling? Jack doesn’t know but it sounds like it.

“Well, we’ll see about that, won’t we?” Surviving is in his nature by now. There have been multiple times where he’d faced death and didn’t die, why would he die now? At the hands of Barbossa, at that? “Ye seem to forget how slippery I can be. Aye, try yer best, but I’m not dyin’ here today.”

Always the worrier, isn’t she? What could possibly go wrong? It isn’t as if they’re on their way to their doom via sirens or being swallowed whole by a Kraken. They aren’t even doing anything dangerous!

Eyes squint at her, head tilting to the side. Oh what he wouldn’t give to know what’s going through that pretty little head of hers. Jack sighs at her words, “Well? Spit it out, eh? What could possibly be wrong this time?”
