(untitled introduction)
Abraham had heard of the new vampire, actually was of itself rather unusual, few seemed to care who the others were. But this new vampire had made a rumor fueled name for himself in life. Naturally, rumor flew now. He chose to wait. An introduction would only add to the stress and the confusion. It wasn’t until he had snuck into Eden for his regular snooping about the office when his own interest peaked. Adam already owned most of the cops so why did he feel the need to pay off the county sheriff’s office? Who was it that had so caught Emily’s attention?
He waited until he knew Emily and the new vampire were out and slipped into Jack's room at Eden. It was the chalked drawings and symbols by the window that caught his immediate attention. The began on the floor, a cushion in the center, and grew up the wall to circle the window. Only a few were familiar so he took a couple pictures with his phone – maybe he could ask Urian next time the demon was in town.
A small statue of a woman sat on the bedside table, with either glow in the dark paint or faint led lights in the eyes, a flickering red. Two travel cases sat on the dresser. What drew his attention more than the cases was the smell of gun powder. In the corner it looked to be several pounds of it and rolls of a heavy cardboard tubing, wiring and a small model rocket engine. He was making fireworks...
What Abraham found in the cases left him to leave a note on the bed. His office address and phone number. They really needed to talk.
