As the camera fades in Jack Scratch is draped across a couch backstage, being handed a mic by somebody to his left. He's not in his ring gear, his hair loose around his face and he grins widely as beckons to the camera operator. "Come on closer kid, I'd like to get up close and personal with my audience"
He leans forward, sweeping out an arm as he begins his speech "Hello WSW, and may I say it is a pleasure! For those of you unfamiliar allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jack Scratch and I am the luckiest man in wrestling! And may I just say I'm very lucky to find myself introducing myself to you lovely people." He winks here, grinning from ear to ear. "Cheap flattery aside, I'm very exited to be here folks, and I promise you, I won't disappoint. I've got some big plans kids."
"As for those more familiar with me, let me get down to brass tacks. Y'all might be wondering why I'm here. Why I decided to pack up and move halfway across the country when I had such a nice thing going back home. Well... some of you are wondering that, but to be fair just as many of you've been wondering what's been taking me so long for quite a while now." He takes a pause for dramatics, giving a loud sigh and tossing his hair back. "It hurts to admit it, but I've known full well that the opinion of a... vocal portion of my devoted public is that I've been, well, coasting the last few years. Not that I've sucked or that I've lost my spark or gotten too old." He pauses here and pulls a face "Well, some of you have been saying that last bit. Thanks guys, appreciate it. And yes, I’m fully aware that makes it sound painfully like I’m going through a midlife crisis but come on, too old my a**."
Scoffing off his aside, he looks directly into the camera, and all the jokes are set aside as he's suddenly completely serious. "What they've been saying is that I've become complacent. That I've settled down, that I've been lazy. Well, I disagree... but not for the reasons you'd think." He pauses here, with a far away look. When he starts back up he's speaking quietly, with rare sincerity and vulnerability. "... Honestly? I think I have lost my spark. It's not a lack of effort that's been plaguing me, it's a lack of that passion I used to have, and that thought terrifies me. I need this change, I need something brand new."
"And I mean, I've always been a restless guy. I'm at my happiest when I'm moving forward, making progress." He grins wildly and gestures around himself vaguely. "And WSW is the place to be when you wanna be moving forward. From where I'm standing, which gives me a pretty nice view, if you've got something to prove, something to accomplish, something to achieve, this is a perfect home for you. And I feel that's gonna suit me perfectly."
He stands, and takes a bow, gesturing wildly as he does so. As he straightens up, laughing, he gives the camera a wink and gives his final remark. "Thanks for the warm welcome folks. I'll be seeing you, sooner than later!"
Two words that describe them the most: experienced, confident
 Pronouns: He/him
Physical/visual description: He’s around 47 years old, 6'4 and built like a tank. He’s got blue eyes and dark brown hair that grayed prematurely, so he’s rocking the salt and pepper look. His most striking facial attribute is some deep scarring across his face he got in a nasty accident with some glass in a hardcore match he was in back in his twenties. Background info+personality: Born in Las Vegas Nevada, he’s has a flair for the dramatic, gaudy and glamorous, with a loud entrance and a colorful outfit that hearkens back to stage magicians and other performers. Beyond that, he’s a pretty friendly and energetic guy overall, with a boisterous streak a mile wide. He can be be a rowdy, wild guy, particularly when you manage to rile him up a bit, and he’s more than willing to fight anybody who tries to start something with him. He’s taken to calling himself “the luckiest guy in the business” in recent years. Mostly due to simply how long he’s been doing this. He’s been called blessed before, having been in the business for decades at this point without any truly dire injuries, getting his start when he was around 19 or so. He’s been drifting around promotions for the last few years and he’s been successful enough, but recently he’s been feeling stuck, stagnant. WSW is a brand new start for him, it’s a company he’s never been involved with, filled with new faces and opportunities. He’s hoping that this new setting will give him back some of the passion it feels he’s been missing lately
Face? heel? in between?: He’s been around the block, but at this point in time he is firmly a face.
Goals and aspirations: To get that spark of passion back, to have some new experiences and have the best matches of his career. Also he certainly wouldn’t turn down a shot at the title.
Theme: Judas Priest - A Touch of Evil (His theme is a relic of his most successful and beloved run back in 1995. He happened to be a heel at the time)
Notable Moves: Jackpot Powerbomb (Crucifix Powerbomb), Stroke of Luck (Spinning Crucifix Toss), Ace High Lock (Leglock Cloverleaf), Seated Crossface/Armbar Spinning heel, Roundhouse kick, High Knee, Knee lift, flying lariat, Diving Clothesline and Suicide Dive.
Anything Else: He also has a kid in his twenties that he’s been training to become a wrestler, one of the coolest experiences of his life. Also easily one of the scariest.
