Jianna, version 2
When Arya suggested staying after school for tutoring, Jack wasn't exactly the most thrilled. For one, staying at school longer than needed was definitely not an option for him, and two, Cassie rode with him as well and if she ended up at home without Jack, their parents would scold her for carpooling with someone they don't know and scold him for jepordizing his sister's life. Nonetheless, come time that school ended, he met with Cassie quickly to explain that they'd both be staying after a little longer and she didn't seem to mind, her boyfriend saying he'd say to keep her company. Before he could walking back into the classroom, Cassie caught him by the arm and pulled him aside. "Look, I've heard about you stalking this new teacher's assistant," she began, completely taking Jack by surprise. How the hell could she have heard that? Where could she have heard that? "Don't look at me like that, Michael told me. And plus, people are talking. A lot of people saw you standing around the science hallways and just staring at her." Dammit. Jack should probably have thought this through; he didn't even once think about people seeing him - or even talking about it. "I don't really care who you fuck and all that, that's your business. But I'm warning you, Jack: stay away from this one. It will cause you nothing but trouble. Even if anything even remotely begins to happen between you two and the schoolboard finds out, it's game over for the both of you. Stay in your lane, Jack. Don't do anything the both of you will regret later." With that, she walked back over to her boyfriend, the two of them walking down the hallway hand in hand and not once looking back. As much as he hated to admit it, she had a point. His parents would flip absolute shit if they ever found out he was having relations with an older woman - a teacher's assistant, at that. Lugging himself back to the classroom, he took a seat beside Michael and some of his other friends who were obviously just talking about Arya and how hot she was. Throughout the entire time she was talking and the other students were making vulgar comments, Jack stayed quiet. He never uttered a word, not until she talked to him directly. "Actually, you just answered it," he said monotonely and gave her a smile small before looking down to his homework, beginning to fill in a couple of blanks and circle answers.
