The rest of the tutoring session, Jack remained completely silent. Michael and a couple of his other friends were asking what was up with him, but he found it best to just not answer them at all. Once it was over, he quickly gathered his things, handing in his homework to Mrs. March before walking out the door. Michael and his friends were yelling after him, but he only just ignored them and walked out of the school building, walking straight to his car and hoping Cassie and Evan would see him. Sure enough they did, Cassie sliding into the passenger seat just seconds after Jack had gotten into the driver's and started the car. "How was it?" Cassie asked as she was situated and they were on the road, but nonetheless, Jack still remained silent. "Look, I don't give a damn if you're going to give me the silent treatment. But teacher's are sure as hell off limits, Jack. Out of all people, I'd figure you to know that best." No more words were spoken the entire ride, both spliting in their seperate directions once home. Cassie went to the living room to watch American Horror Story while Jack went to his room to do the rest of his homework. Of course, he had Twenty One Pilots blasting through his iHome and had his ringer turned off so he could ignore any and all texts that anyone sent him. The rest of the week was a drag, and he remained relatively quiet throughout all classes. On one hand, he was relieved to have not seen Arya, but on the other hand, he already missed her. This wasn't even remotely healthy, liking an older woman that had a child and, well, was his teacher. There was just something in him that couldn't help it, something in him that wanted her. There were plenty of girls his age, and even a little younger by a few years, that he could have if he wanted. But there was something that drew him to Arya, and no matter the cost, he would find some way to get close to her - even with Cassie's warnings. Come Saturday, Jack had planned on sleeping in and not leaving the house all day; just blasting Twenty One Pilots through his iHome and wrack his brain for ideas on how he was going to get to Arya. Then Cassie came bursting into his room, turning off his music and throwing a shirt and jeans at him. "Get dressed, we're going to the pumpkin patch," she said before walking over, taking Evan's hand whom Jack didn't even notice standing there and just leaving the door wide open. "You could at least close the door on your way out," he called at her before closing the door himself, turning to slide on a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt with his regular flannel and black converse. As soon as he walked into the living room, his parents, Cassie and Evan were sitting on the couch, his mother turning to him with a smile. "Well, what a nice surprise! Now this really will be a family outing!" Family Outing? Really? What was this, the early 2000s? Jack only rolled his eyes, following behind the other four as they left the house, sitting in the very back of the SUV and listening to music the entire time and ignored anyone who tried to make contact with him. Once they arrived, he had hoped to just stay behind and lay low until Cassie saw Arya and just had to talk to her. Their parents were intrigued when she spoke to the older lady, their mother giving her a questionable look. "Oh, Arya, this is my mom, Jennifer, and my dad, Tyler. Mom, dad, this is my German teacher Arya." They seemed to settle down once she told them she was her teacher, Jennifer shaking her hand and Tyler giving her a smile and nod. They refrained from saying anything, turning and walking along the rows of pumpkins and looking at each and every one of them to try and busy themselves. "I'm sure you've met Evan," Cassie said once they were out of sight, taking her boyfriend by the hand and pulling him to her side, smiling up at him and leaning to press a kiss to his cheek. "And you already know Jack," she said and looked towards her brother, giving him a look that said if he tried anything, he was dead but Jack paid no attention. He gave her a smile and nod, turning his head and trying to focus on anything but the situation in front of him.
