how much u wanna bet that there actually were fun places in the other four states, but morrigan never got to see them because they were in the lower class areas. like im pretty sure jackalfax is their equivalent of the rich people part of town, given how the architecture is all the same and everyone seems pretty stuck up. let me see the protests and marches in the streets, with colorful banners and signs! let me see the poorer areas with mismatched houses and overflowing flowerbeds! they may not have as many inventions, but im almost positive that whatever was going on in jackalfax was more similar to those fancy pants gated communities than a usual citizen's day-to-day life

Thinking about the fact that in Jackalfax Morrigan was always hated or feared due to the supposed curse on children born on Eventide and when she came to Nevermoor she began to realize that nothing was her fault, that nobody hated her or blamed her or even knew about the curse to shoot dirty looks at her, but when people (wuns or unwuns alike) found out she was a Wundersmith it was like reliving her hate-filled childhood. People would fear her, and hiss Wundersmith under their breath around her as if it were and insult, glare at her or cross the road to get away from her just like when she was in the Wintersea Republic, it was probably like reliving everything that she thought she’d escaped. Her once safe haven had now become like Jackalfax. After she was slowly recovering everything went back to how it was before all her development was lost.

MOGTOBER day 5! (murder of crows)

I’m definitely NOT 5 days behind that would be absurd!!! (but I do have the thumbnails for the next 5 days I hope I’ll post a bit more!)

I kinda struggled with this one just because Corvus looks a bit off from my mental perception of him and starting with I didn’t real know what I wanted to do, but I settled and I’m fine with it :)

also i don’t know about you but i can only picture Ivy wearing 1950s dresses
