a scoff escapes mac as he looks at the other , a quick laugh following suit . “ well ? dude , that was fucking 𝐀𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 . ” mac beams , leans himself against the bar as he looks at the other , reaches over to grab himself a drink . “ you want one , dude ? on the house . ” regardless of the answer , mac grabs one for jack too , sets it on the counter before twisting open his own drink . takes a quick sip and sits in a brief little 𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 for a second . glances around the bar before everything kind of dawns on him .
“ we’ll keep this between us , right ? nobody else has to know . ” mac meets jack with a more awkward kind of smile , not as 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂 as it had been when he hadn’t registered everything properly . “ just -- you know ? it’s not like it’s a 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐋 and everyone needs to know . it’s just a one time thing that happened , dude . we can just keep it on the 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐖 or whatever . ”
