2018 #MOOD ❤️✊🎉 #KIITOS 🙏✌️😁 This morning, I formally accepted a position at @betterdoctor to start in a couple of weeks! 😍😍😍 It's a dream position at a dream company. I'm so humbled, grateful, and excited to join such a diverse, collaborative, international team! 🙌🙌 . . My mission in life is to help improve communities, healthcare, to keep growing in my tech career, and to give back. Especially in this day and age, it's so important for me to work with really empowered women in tech; I love how visible that is at #BetterDoctor, because they are really living proof of how much we can all work together to improve something so complicated. . . When there's access to contributing diverse ideas, we're not one dimensional in our problem solving. I'm so, so proud to join this team and work with such inspirational people, all driven by the same mission. 👩‍💻 As a #WOCintech, I look forward to being just one of many who are actively working hard to build a better, more accessible future for all. . . Today's #JacketJanuary is a bit diff bc I wanna highlight how much my hair has grown since last year & how healthy it looks! Sometimes, it's hard to see how much nicer your hair is as a brunette bc the light catches it differently, but the color is a lot more vibrant than it was a few months ago (did not color). I'll post a video review after. 😊 . . I've been Product Testing this leave-in/rinse off hair masque because I've been on a sort of #haircarejourney ever since I cut my hair AT our wedding over a year ago. 💇‍♀️ . . Well...that's not true. I've been on this journey for a while bc I noticed how dry my scalp was and how dull my hair was getting while in grad school. . . So @influenster sent me #LOrealHair #ElviveRevive to test, and I was surprised that their claim in making your hair more vibrant / softer / shinier after 1 use actually worked. 💁 . . Even so, I didn't wanna review it after 1 use. The proof is in multiple uses, and I wanna see how it holds up over the course of a month. Yeah, my hair seems so much healthier now. . . Tonight's #ootd / #ootn is a bit different bc I'm having a hard time posting multiple photos on IG. Today's #JacketJanuary is actually a little boy's jacket! 🙌🙌 I got an AMAAAAZING deal on it! EVERYTHING is marketing, so I've never paid too much attn to the brand or which dept it "belongs" to. If I like it, I like it. That's how I've always been. . . In the case of this #denimcoat, I loved the material (BIG on fabric quality), the dark denim color, the Navy blue faux fur lining, the QUILTED lining, the pockets with snap closure (it also zips all the way up), the asymmetrical chest pocket...and so much more! . . I think I got this jacket for $15? YEARS ago. What. A. Steal! 🙌🙌💯 (at South of Market, San Francisco)

Hi @snoopybabe! 😘😻 For #GoogleUdacityScholars, we were supposed to make trading cards for our fav animal, and I decided to use #SnoopyCat! 😜 And then I took it a few steps beyond...which, truthfully, took WAY too long, but it's so satisfying! 👇👇👇 After matching the prototype, I put the image into a container and used overflow: hidden to "fake crop" the rest of the image that didn't fit beyond the initial dimensions. I wanted to be able to swap in any image and not worry about it stretching or going over when resized. . . I did some spiffy sparkle font stuff using CSS, rollover effects on hover (using position: relative) to get it to happen ONLY in the space of the image, and the gradient background you see. . . All in all, I'm happy bc it forced me to use what I know, research what I wasn't sure about, learn some new tricks, and then problem-solve if things weren't working as I envisioned them. . . . Thanks for this project, @udacity! ❤️🙏🎉🌈 . . . P.S. I promise I'll get a #JacketJanuary pic after this! I just couldn't get up until I figured this out.
