Jack Frost looked around the large library, surprised to actually see people here on Winter break. Jack usually wasn't the person to come and study on a break, heck… He hated studying full stop… But he had been failing a lot of classes lately and decided it would be best.
Due to no seats being left, he sat himself next to the boy who was working something with gears. Jack paid him no mind as he sat himself next to the boy, moving his books over slightly and opening his own. As he read, the boy was making noises from what he was making.
Curiosity getting the best of Jack; he peered up form his book looking at what the boy was screwing in. He recognised the boy; though they had never spoke. He was in a few of his classes, never really spoke much. He remembered him from the start of the year; when everyone made a big fuss over how old he was.
Jack didnt see much difference; infact at first he thought the boy was just another snotty kid, thinking he was better because he skipped a couple of years. After a while he started to notice that he didnt really like to talk; in fact he stayed away from everyone altogether.
Eventually he was pretty much forgotten, and no one bothers trying to engage in conversation with him. The only people are the professors; apparently doing well in every class. One of his teacher’s actually suggested getting tutored by him, but Jack was to ashamed in how he was doing to ask, even if everyone knew the boy was the highest in the class.
"Uh, Hiccup right? What are you making?" Jack asked curiously, trying not to frighten him as he realised he was very focused in his work.
It didn't work though and Hiccup jumped, blinking a few times and turning to look at Jack. "Uh..." He said, mind going blank for a moment. "Yes..." He said. "That's me..... It's uh..." He paused again. Really, how was he supposed to concentrate when strange people were asking him? then again, maybe it was just the fact that he was uncomfortable with talking to anyone. "It's a dragon." He said. "Or at least the head." He set his screwdriver down and gestured, moving it lightly. "Though it's not done yet."
After he spoke, he honestly believed that the other would grow bored of his explanation. Most people did. his 'little hobby' wad nothing to them. Not like it was to Hiccup. The teenager was enraptured in the way the pieces worked and fit together to make things move and turn.... others didn't understand and he did not expect this newcomer to either.

The clouds were up high and covering the sun as it always did, rain was coming soon. It was normal rain weather, it wouldn't be long before it did start to rain on the depressing town. Nothing new ever happened here and ever will. Hiccup was laying down in bed with a book, he couldn't seem to keep his eyes open. But he manged because of the loud noise coming from outside. That loud banging and moving, a groan escaped from those chapped lips.He closed that large book and placed it on his night table right next to his bag of chips. What on earth was causing all that noise?
The green eyed boy got up from his bed and headed over to his window, which really just looked into another window in the house next door. No one lived there but maybe if he looked he could see what was making all that noise. With a groan he opened the window to only look into a pair of blue eyes next door.
((whoopsie-daisy didnt mean to send that reply to your other post LOL))
Resting in the middle of his Warren, Bunny relaxed and took a deep breath of new beginnings, of hope, and of spring. Taking another egg in hand, he painted yet another elaborate - yet elegant - pattern and set it aside to dry. Hearing a sound rustling the bushes, he swiftly turned his head to see a small trail of snowflakes floating in the air. "I know ya are in there, mate."
