Trans super-per-day #519: Slush! Also from Amethyst's Hyperverse, Jake Evans is the son of a superhero who is unmasked, causing Jake to become a frequent target for supervillains, who kidnap him to try to get at his dad. One such time, it turns out the kidnapper is his own mother, a magic user who had been institutionalized after becoming possessed by an evil sorceress. Intending to not only defeat Jake's father but use Jake as her new host, the sorceress first changes Jake's body to female in order to better suit her own needs before freezing him to keep him from leaving while she goes out to do something. Jake finds that he can still move and turn back to human and escapes. Found by Crystal (yesterday's character, it should be mentioned), he finds that he has power over ice and becomes a superhero, with the new civilian name of Jackie.
Slush has the ability to freeze water and control ice. While this is moderate in his regular form, he is more powerful in his ice form, in which he can use water vapor to fly and, while his body is brittle in this form, he can reconstitute himself if shattered and use any water or ice nearby to aid in this, if needed.
