I think about Yellowjackets too much…

went to my sisters award ceremony (she graduates soon) and a girl won a a soccer award (she was the captain) and I was like “Jackie” then they talked about how dedicated she is to faith (because this is the south) and I was like “Jackie and Laura Lee’s daughter ❤️”

Then today I was at the play my sister wrote, watching it (obviously) and they all got chaotic and I was like “what if Yellowjackets happened to them” which is a fair thought because one of the characters was just so misty

She starts looking forward to Sundays (to Shauna's deep confusion, doesn't Jackie hate church?) because that's when she gets to play with Laura Lee, who goes to a private Christian elementary/middle school.

Jackie and Laura Lee sitting next to each other on the pews, Jackie's parents being happy that she's finally 'come to god,' only for them to be whispering about the new my little pony episode. Jackielee that run wild through the field behind the church and get covered in burrs and nettle stings. Jackie's parents dragging her to the car because five more minutes were over twenty minutes ago, Jackie, and Laura Lee holding Jackie's hand while they say goodbye to each other.

Laura Lee who starts looking forward to the end of her father's sermons, because that's when she and Jackie can play pretend on the swing set by the parking lot.

Heya! Ooh yeah got a few.

I think they're the ones going to other things to support the other girls. If Taissa has a debate meet, Lottie's family is throwing a party, etc.

I see them getting kinda close cause after Mrs. Taylor meets the girls she just ADORES Laura Lee. "Why don't you invite that nice girl over Jackie?" Thus Laura Lee being over on the occasion Shauna can't come over.

The QUEENS of 'we can share a bed. We're both girls.' Both sets of parents not batting an eye.
