#JackedKirby - Happy Memorial Day!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Today we would like thank all of those past, present and future who have served the USA in any branch of the Armed Forces... just like our beloved Jack did in WWII... 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I decided on this awesome splash page from Captain America #Issue193 (January of 1976) that shows Cap amid chaos and destruction because of the word bubble Jack used... he says “I-I haven’t seen anything like this since WWII...” and it resonates so deeply because Jack DID SEE WWII FIRST HAND... and came out the other side to become one of the greatest creators in the history of pop culture.
