Fly like paper, get high like planes:// Jack and Addison
Addison inhaled deeply as the the captain informed the passengers that they were preparing for take off. Her fingers gravitated towards her mouth as she bit the edges of her nails, something she hadn't done since she was a child. She could feel her body begin to fall back into the seat as the plane slowly began to lift from the the ground. Quickly her hands took refuge from her mouth, finding a new resting place on the arm rests at her side. Addison's eyes closed as she tried to think of something, anything, other than being on a plane. Addison had never been a fan of irony, finding it more a slap across the face rather then funny, but this was certainly ironic. Being on plane, flying to watch your best friend be taken off life support, from injuries sustained in a plane crash? No, this most certainly was irony.
As the seatbelt light flashed and eventually went off, she cringed as she heard people all around her unclicking there belts. How stupid do you have to be she questioned as she reached down, tightening her belt further. Adjacent to her sat a man with his head buried in some sort of magazine. Addison leaned across the empty seat between them, still secured in her own, reaching across his lap as she flapped her hand, trying to flag down a flight attendant. After catching the attendants attention, Addison tried to bring herself back to her upright position, losing her balance though and catching her hand in the mans lap. "shit!" she cursed, gasping as her body quickly made its back up. Laughing now, Addison began to try and apologize. "I am so so so sorry" she said, her face red with embarrassment. "Let me at least..." she trailed as the man turned to face her. Addison's breath caught as she realized exactly how attractive he was, heightening her level of embarrassment.
