One of the nice things about ep 2x07 of Gen Y being on YouTube is that I get to make gifs:

Not sure if Jack is now aware of his attraction to Koh or not, but Koh definitely is. I was admittedly a little surprised that Koh didn't close the distance between their lips, but I really appreciate that he's willing to let Jack be the one to initiate the kiss. He knows that Jack is more resistant to their mutual feelings, and he isn't going to push himself on Jack sexually.

It's a fucking crime that they aren't the main couple. Maybe I'll get lucky and we'll get a Between Us version of the show where their relationship is the sole focus.

I can't WAIT to see what ends up breaking both Jack and Koh. Because it's not like they're fighting against internalized homo/biphobia. They're fighting against their perception of each other and their relationship. I think I've settled on believing that they realize that they're starting to have feelings for each other and that it's mutual. I could be entirely wrong and simply basing that on my own hyperawareness of my emotions and the causes of them, but I don't think so. They've been told several times by at least three different people I can think of that they're going to end up being a couple, and they've shared four longing looks, three of which they visibly had to shake themselves out of.

I think one problem is that they genuinely like each other and the way they interact. They're in a university with hundreds of students, but they always go after the same people because it gives them an excuse to be around each other. If they date, they're risking having a relationship of any kind. It's the same reason friends are sometimes resistant to dating each other. I've just never seen that done in an enemies-to-lovers story.

I love their relationship so much it's definitely my favorite on the show. Though I do love MarkKit and PokTong.
