Height: 5'11 Weight: 180 lb. Eye color: Hazel Hair: short, black Ethnicity: Caucasian Colonel Jackson Cross is the head of the Federation black-ops cell known as Blackhawk. For a while, they operated under official Federation guidelines, and were focused less on behind-the-back operations and more on wetwork operations dealing with espionage and reconnaissance. Eventually, Cross took Blackhawk off the grid, and turned it into his own personal black ops cell and R&D team. It was around this time that Cross picked up Jason and Nikita as two of his new operatives in the new Blackhawk. Cross is exceptionally loyal to humanity, believing that they have some of the best ways of doing things. To Cross, the Federation embodies the best of humanity and its allies, and he justifies most of his actions as being for the good of the Federation. His one major issue is that the Federation has taken too little control of certain situations, instead allowing too much time for deliberation and debate. Cross feels as though the Federation requires more power, even if it must be taken by force at times. With the rise of the Imperium being a very real threat, this has given Cross a "subjugate-or-be-subjugated" mindset, which has made him a very dangerous individual. Nikita's recent rebellion has sent him on a swift-but-precise warpath through the rebel-held sectors of the galaxy, as well as a slower but more insidious espionage campaign within Federation space in an attempt to find her and make her his living weapon once again. Cross is a trained military officer, proficient in all mainline military weapons, as well as some off-the-books weapons developed by Blackhawk. He is also an expert hand-to-hand combatant, and a brilliant strategist and diplomat. He has been using his diplomatic ties to try and push for a harsher crackdown on the rebels, and has secretly been funneling some of the new weapons tech Blackhawk has developed to the Federation as they prepare to mount their campaign against the oncoming Imperium forces.
