Jackson and you had a friendship that went back to your training days. You both meet when you were signed with JYP, your girl group just about to debut when the leader got into a scandal and ruined it for the rest. So you decided to finish schooling and go for your main goal: acting. And so, you graduated with honors and with opportunities from broadcasting companies around. In no time, you found yourself going from a supporting cast to the lead in a few years.
Of course, your friendship with Jackson never faltered, and the two of you continued to spend as much time together as you could. Between your filming, auditioning and awards, you were just as busy as Jackson. He juggled his own label, his group, and tours along with an upcoming comeback.
You loved your career, you constantly told Jackson how happy it made you and how excited you were for new roles for characters you were going to play.
As for Jackson, he too loved his career. He loved his fans, how supportive they were and how much they cared for him. He constantly wondering how he got so lucky with group mates like his and fans that loved him.
Tonight, though, you enjoyed your night off. You had soft music on, lights off save for the few candles in your living room. You had called Jackson over to watch a movie only for his voicemail to answer. You found out through social media that he was out with a few friends and you let him be, knowing he needed his stress relief.
The sound of your door opening caught you off guard, about to stand but instead relaxing when Jackson appeared, closing the door behind him and locking it. He gave you a huge smile, one that you happily returned.
“Hey, I thought you were-“
“I’ve missed you!”
You flinched at the loud exclaim, giggling when you realized that Jackson was drunk. “Oh, you’re drunk.” You giggled out, Jackson only shaking his head, pouting.
“I’m not drunk, you’re drunk,”
“Of course, because I can get drunk off coffee.”
Jackson took a seat next to you, sighing as he relaxed. You watched as his eyes began to droop, exhaustion was clear as day on him. He had been working hard in the studio, the comeback with his group growing near not to mention that he was working with his label for an upcoming song.
Jackson tilted his head to look at you, watching you before smiling. “Don’t look at me like that,”
You returned the smile, your hand in his hair and raking your fingers through it. Jackson’s eyes closed, letting out a breath through his nose. You watched as he got comfortable once more, letting himself get taken by sleep. You enjoyed the softness in Jackson's hair between your fingers, watching as his new cut complimented him. You always told him that an undercut would look good on him again and it looked like he finally agreed to it.
It was only a few minutes before his whole body relaxed, arms loosely crossed over his body. You set your mug of coffee down, standing to get a blanket from your hall closet. You pouted a bit seeing that you didn’t have the white one he liked before remembering that you had it on your bed. You closed the door, turning to head to your room only to be startled as Jackson towered over you.
“Jack, you scared me...” You whispered out, about to hit his chest but his eyes kept your frozen. They pierced you, forcing you to back onto the wall. Jack placed his hands next to your head, bending down a bit to be eye level with you.
You were at a loss for words, raising a hand to his shoulder to keep distance between you both. You never saw Jackson like this, only when he played around but right now it seemed like he wanted to devour you.
“I always wondered what you would do if I ever did this...” His voice was low, shivers going up your spine. His face inched closer, lips brushing yours ever so gently. You could taste the alcohol on his breath, feeling yourself get lightheaded.
His lips moved to your jaw, skimming down your neck where he placed a few light kisses, making your back arch the slightest to expose your neck more.
You whimpered when Jackson pulled back, giving you a goofy smile. “I’m going to bed,”
You were left against the wall, watching Jackson disappear inside your room. Your mind raced with everything that happened, eyes closed as you decided that sleep was what you needed.
You woke up sore and with neck pain, the couch not being as comfortable as you thought it would be. Jackson walked into the kitchen as you made him a cup of tea, looking over at him and smiling. “Hey, how are we feeling?”
With a grunt, Jackson took his mug and drank the hot liquid, groaning in satisfaction. “Remind me to never have strong liquor like that again,”
You only smiled, shaking your head a bit before you gasped slightly, Jackson’s arms around your waist as he hugged you from behind. He kissed your cheek, resting his cheek on your shoulder. It wasn't new to do this, in fact, this was a norm for the two of you. But after the events last night, you didn't know how to read this. Jackson noticed how tense you were, opening his eyes to see you tense.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Jackson’s hand on your cheek made you look at him.
“I’m just a bit stiff, the couch wasn’t comfy,”
“Couch? Why would you sleep there? It’s not like we don't share a bed sometimes,” Jackson laughed, seeing you look away, going back to your mug. Jackson felt the tension grow, suddenly worried. “Wait, did I say something to you last night? I’m so sorry, I swear I didn’t mean it-“
“You didn’t say anything, Jack, don’t worry.” You looked up at him, seeing the worry in his eyes before you gave him a reassuring smile.
“How drunk was I?”
You blinked a bit, thinking about what happened before looking up at him. Taking Jackson’s hand and leading him back to the wall by the hall closet, you gulped at the nerves growing. You took a breath before you rested on the wall, Jackson confused as you placed his hands next to your head.
“This drunk,” Your voice dropped to a whisper as you pulled Jackson down to you, his mouth only a breath away from yours. “You said you always wondered what I would do if you ever did this...”
Jackson was at a loss for words, looking at you stunned. You took in a breath, closing the distance between you both.
You knew this jeopardized your friendship, one where you both treated each other with nothing but respect but could still be blunt and honest as always. But you also knew this was what you wanted since yesterday. When his lips trailed down your neck, his nose skimming your skin and the way his smile gleamed in the barely lit hall, something erupted inside of you and you wanted more.
Jackson was stunned, unsure of what to do as you pulled back, eyes down. “That’s what I would do,”
You worried you ruined your friendship, Jackson would leave without a second thought and never contact you again. You would lose your best friend over something you wanted, over you being selfish and-
But you stood stunned as his lips crashed into yours, body pressed into yours. You returned the fevered kiss, hands snaking around his neck as Jackson’s hands dug into your hips, bringing your impossibly closer as he still kept your pinned to the wall.
You whimpered as his lips trailed down your neck, placing wet kisses everywhere before moving back to your lips. He pecked them once, twice, thrice before he pulled back, catching his breath.
You both stared at each other before he grinned, making you grin back. “Does this mean you’re mine?”
You leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his lips, smiling. “I’ve always been yours.”
