I just find it so amusing when writers try to insert a love triangle and the two men fighting over the girl have more romantic chemistry with each other....

Remember when Mark marched over to Derek’s place to yell at him for trying to steal Jackson away from him? Remember when he kept telling Jackson to get away from Derek and get in the car? Remember when Jackson picked Mark over his relationship with Lexie? Remember when Jackson and Mark spent Valentine’s Day together? When Jackson brought over a bottle of wine and a steak and told Mark he was going to “cook for him”? Remember when all of that happened and they didn’t make out? What was that about?

The best part of Mark showing up with Sophia to yell at Shepherd was that, if you didn’t watch the first half of this episode, it kinda looks like Jackson was his partner that left him at home with their baby to spend time with Derek. 

“Derek! You’re trying to steal my guy? He’s my guy. Avery, go get in the car.”

“Mark?”

“You’ve been moving in on him all week. You weren’t even interested in him until you saw how much he meant to me! Avery, go get in the car!”

(Also, the work day was clearly over. Where was Mark taking him?)
