You're entitled to share salary information with co-workers, and now any gender pay disparity must be linked to legitimate, actual non-sex based reasons for paying you less than men doing the same job. The penalties against the employer are now substantially increased. Make sure to document your suspicion and/or complaint of unequal pay so you'll have proof that you gave your employer every chance to rectify the sex-based pay discrimination before suing them.
