From the same strain of horror as ANTLERS comes this dark, macabre horror film about a child having to deal with very real, and very deadly monsters in his life. Getting a good performance out of any child actor is very tough, so when you come across a solid performance, especially in a short film, that actor should be applauded. In this case, not only does Jacob Shapiro shine in the lead role, but the young man also carries the film, as you believe everything that he’s going through. Jacob makes you care for him and his struggle, thereby making the film that much more impactful when the terror is revealed.
