Christus und die Samariterin am Jakobsbrunnen von Guercino
You can’t visit Wimberley without stopping by Jacob’s Well. Maybe when it warms up we’ll come back to take a swim 🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♂️
Spontaneous adventures with a cute girl, what more do I need?
Jacob’s Well is a perennial karstic spring in the Texas Hill Country flowing from the bed of Cypress Creek, located in Woodcreek, Texas, just northwest of Wimberley.

It was a bad day to take pictures here, since it was overcast. Reflections on the water and bad light made capturing “the hole” difficult. Jacob’s Well (the first picture, above) is the entrance to an underground, under water, cave system that stretches for miles. The hole itself is over 100 feet deep. The water is clear enough to see to the bottom, though its hard to see in the pictures. Water comes up here from deep underground and gives rise to Cypress Creek.
The cave system is so vast and dangerous that several people have lost their lives exploring it.
Slow motion video I took of my feet in Jacob's Well today on the adventure I went on with my momma (: look at how beautiful and clear that water is! I want to live in Wimberley or somewhere around there one day. Goals. Today was serene
