Ein Prediger kann eine kräftige Stimme haben, bewegende Illustrationen erzählen, eine attraktive Persönlichkeit sein und ein großes Publikum erreichen – und dennoch nichts Wesentliches sagen.

Lärm ist keine Offenbarung. Lautstärke kann menschliche Meinungen nicht in göttliche Wahrheit verwandeln.

When Jesus called himself the Good Shepherd, that meant more than people realize.

A shepherd didn’t just own sheep, he lived with them, knew each one, and stayed when things got dangerous.

Jesus didn’t say “I’m a good teacher.” He said “I’m the Good Shepherd.” A teacher gives advice and leaves. A shepherd stays. He knows every mess you’ve made and still calls you his.

Sheep wander, so do we, but he’s the one who comes after us and brings us back. We’re not strong enough to find our own way.

We just have a Shepherd faithful enough to lead us home.

Jesus didn’t come for people who had it together. He came for people who knew they didn’t.

He sat with sinners but never joined their sin, compassion without compromise.

That’s the gospel.

He runs toward broken people, not away from them.
