Did G want him to be embarrassed? Of course they did, why else would they have this thing going where he got a text encouraging him to let a freshman do a body shot off of him? And then he spotted them, trying to act casual as though he wasn’t hoping that they did what G wanted them to do with Gabe. He felt guilty; while G had dirt on him, Jacqui was innocent and did not deserve to be punished for that. Still, he turned and offered them a kind smile. “Jacqui, right? Gabe, from the food festival. Fancy seeing you here.”
