People don't write Jod most of the time. They write a shitty father, a rich asshole, but they never write him as the groomer he is. Literally every time he's around someone who is under 35 he's grooming them.

Yes Alecto is the Earth, but she was only "human" and had the awareness of one for like 5 seconds before John groomed her.

Dunno why, but around 2023 I started getting brainworms for Jak and Daxter. In my own time I've been chipping away at an AU/rewrite thingy of sorts where the main difference is that there's no time travel i was working on this before i found Dead Roots Dark Water please don't hurt me and some of the obnoxious 2000s-isms are toned down a fair margin. It started out as mostly an exercise in hypothetical game design, but as I kept going it went into rewrite territory; you can kinda tell from the writing when that started.

The first drawings of Jak(Sandover + Spargus) and Kiera were done in 2023. Haven Jak + Dark Jak, Daxter, Gol, and Maia were drawn this year.
