Can't get over the fact that the OG Jade Winglet is just the Dragonets of Destiny Junior.

Except for Winter and Carnelian, whose tribes weren't in the original group, everyone is connected in some way. Umber is Clay's youngest brother. Turtle is Tsunami's little brother. Kinkajou is Glory's kid sister in all but blood. Starflight and Moon had a mentor/student-like bond. Qibli is essentially Sunny's adoptive brother.

Kinkajou really wasn't lying when she said they were the second coming of the dragonets.

Finally finished with making the arc 2 main characters! Enjoy some silly pictures of the Jade Winglet (minus Kinkajou since I haven’t made her just yet). And yes the love triangle is happening in the game! Winter likes Moon, Qibli likes Winter, and Moon sort of likes Winter so far. Idk who will end up together

I’m trying out a new art and rendering style, so please tell me if you think I should keep it or not! These are how I image the jade winglet.

Idk why but I decided to give turtle a sort of mane, like Fu Dogs.

I also just added swirls because why not lmao. I always imagined qibli to have a sort of mask, like raccoons! And I always thought winter gave off barn owl vibes, which influenced his design in my head a lot.

Some fanart doodles I did in class! So for a bit of context, when I was like 12 or 13 a few years ago, I was just starting to get into the book series Wings of Fire. A few years back, I started drifting away for other fandoms (DBZ, One Punch Man, Godzilla, etc.), but just over the past week or so, with the new book coming out and the next book protag being announced (my favorite character Kinkajou!!!) I just started to get RIGHT back into it full force! Now, for context, this is fanart of a design I saw in a blog I found many years ago and have since rediscovered, and I still absolutely adore the designs (actually, it probably taught me how to draw humans in the early days lol), the character featured here is the human design of Kinkajou! So yeah, design belongs to @ask-thejadewinglet! I did add some outfit changes for fun tho Oh yeah, also Cin from my book is here too lol
