Rosemary, Davekat, Dirkjohn, and Arajade quad date!

Awwwww, that would be so cute!!!!! John shows up and he’s the only member of the crew who doesn’t have a cute alien datemate lmao.

Dave: You brotherfucker.John: Lmao yeah

Kanaya tries to tell Aradia that she can’t just show up in cargo pants and a dirty tanktop to a quadruple date but Aradia is too busy talking about the recent squirrel carcass she found with Dave and the best way to preserve it (Dave’s vote is to keep all dead things in jars) and Jade comes over and offers to taxidermy shit and Karkat starts screaming because why does everything have to involve dead shit, why can’t they just have a nice meal for once in their life, and then Dirk and Rose, smelling weakness, start needling Karkat because his reaction is really funny and then JOHN starts needling him because Karkat pitching a tantrum is always hilarious (and yet somehow those two still manage to insist they’re not pitch…) and Dave tries to come in and take Karkat’s side because yeah he’s defo on board teasing Karkat is HILARIOUS but that IS still his boyfriend and Aradia and Jade get on the topic of how fancy all the food here is, as like, a token of good will, but then that turns the conversation to their AWFUL eating habits that can basically be summed up with “Damn, girls, you eat like this?”

And THEN Rose and Jade start joking around with some old inside jokes and John joins in, and Dave WOULD except they keep referencing those shitty comics he made when he was 13 and yeah they’re hilarious but not for the same reasons that they were funny when they were kids, mostly now it’s just like “oh my god baby little 13 year old Dave was wild wasn’t he adorable and hilarious” and Dirk is reveling in the chance to get to know more about Dave bc we all know he really admires and looks up to him a lot and then Kanaya and Rose disappear into the bathroom for a strangely long time and when Aradia goes to check up on them she finds them snogging and she’s like “y’all…” and she tells everyone and Dirk thinks that is a FABULOUS idea so he and John duck out for a little while and so Dave and Jade and Aradia resume discussing dead shit and Dave is offering to go over and photograph Aradia’s latest finds and Karkat is just laying there with his face in the table bc gdi they’ve all left him alone with the weird death kids why is this his life? What did he do to deserve this?

Do they go out for a movie after dinner? I say they do. Dave and Karkat HAVE to sit in the back because Karkat lacks an inside voice and both of them talk the entire time during the movie and John and Jade also need to sit in the back because John keeps on cracking jokes to the people sitting next to him, despite Dirk wanting to do the Iconic Teen Making Out In The Back Of The Movie Theater Trope. Rose sees Dirk, correctly interprets what that puppydog stoneface look is about, and makes out with Kanaya in the back row during an irrelevant bit, because there is one top bitch on Earth C and Rose WILL remind EVERYONE that it is her. Aradia gets SUPER zoned into the movie and doesn’t pay attention to anyone around her. She also mindlessly eats the entire large popcorn she got within the first half hour bc her brain and her hand & mouth aren’t really linked up entirely. She’s SUPER into it and has a LOT of thoughts after the movie lets out. Karkat tries to have like, actual Film & Arts critique for the stuff that Dirk is genuinely interested in hearing but Karkat keeps on getting talked over by Aradia and Jade being really excited and acting out their favorite bits of the movie. At one point John picks Jade up on his shoulders so they can Truly Capture the cinematic moment and Karkat complains about how they’re all childish hooligans. Kanaya and Dave both get really animated about their mutual favorite part and Karkat must settle himself with having an Intelligent Audience of one. Rose got looped into the excited gaggle of nonsense and is adding the GLAMOUR and DRAMA that only a woman of her particular tastes can provide. 

Anyway this is an absolutely adorable concept and I’d love to hear everyone else’s thoughts and opinions and ideas for it because this is Too Cute.

For Tuesday of ash week of @homestuck-ff-month ! The prompt was AU, so AU where Aradia gets caught by the empire for dissent and gets psi blockers on her horns, busts her way out without her psi, and then must now trust some random human engineer to get them off. She's not happy about it. Kanaya is trying to intervene, while Jade is just wondering why she won't let her take the damn things off already!

yeah, ive met aradia! shes pretty awesome! :D

she went thought some programming changes before they finally settled on one, so it was a bit strange at first, but she was still pretty awesome to hang out with! 

now that everything is settled with her we like to hang out a and talk about archaeology, adventuring, gardening, etc!!!! :D
