Trick or treat for KyouYachi (apologies if this is a duplicate request my memory isn’t good) 🎃 🍬
Come play Trick or Treat, and I’ll leave you with sweetness and fluff, or darkness and twistiness.
Trick
“Darling,” Kentarou murmured.
“Hm?” Hitoka was only partially paying attention. She couldn’t stand still. It was all so close. Everything he’d told her about, everything he had promised her. They were all within reach. Just a few more moments, and she would have it all.
“My love. Please look at me?” Kentarou’s plaintive tone caught her attention. When she finally turned and stood before him, he was smiling. “Thank you, darling. You know what we need to do?” Hitoka nodded.
“Yes, dearest. I have memorized the plan.” She reached up, and laced her fingers behind Kentarou’s neck. “Any minute now.” She let the grin crawl slowly over her lips. She was still getting used to the sharpness against her lips, her tongue. She felt Kentarou shudder under her hands, barely concealing a growl of pleasure.
“You’re at your lovliest when you’re like this,” he whispered, hands moving to grip her hips hard. “You know what to do if we get separated?” Hitoka nodded.
“I caress my bracelet, and whisper The Words.”
“Wonderful.” Something caught Kentarou’s attention over Hitkoka’s shoulder. She wanted to turn and look, but found herself transfixed by his eyes.
Most humans would see nothing but pitch darkness, but Hitoka had always seen more. She’d seen rushing galaxies, a million moving points of light, intermingling. It had been Kentarou’s eyes that had made up her mind, made her beg him to take her - to make her like him.
Kentarou returned his gaze to Hitoka’s face, gripping her tighter, sharp-toothed grin taking over his facial features.
“It’s almost time, darling. The veil is lifting. Are you prepared?”
“I am, dearest. I am as ready as you have made me.” Kentarou smiled even wider. Dipping his head down, he kissed her gently, before releasing his hold on her, reaching instead for her hand.
“Let’s go and enjoy your first harvest, my darling.”
“Best soul wins?”
“Best soul wins.”

“I have… questions.”
Daichi drags his attention away from his phone and gives Kenma a curious look.
“Questions?”
“Yeah. I have questions.”
“I have answers that may or may not relate to your questions.”
Kenma squints at him suspiciously, then shrugs.
“Okay.” Kenma points at the table. “Why?”
Daichi glances at the pile of fabric on the table. “Because Suga likes flannel things.”
Kenma rubs his forehead and points at the pyramid of mini pumpkins on top of the fridge. “Who?”
“Kei. Or Lev. Not entirely sure which.”
Kenma sighs. “When did Kuro move into our spare bedroom?”
Daichi blinks a few times, glances over his shoulder towards said room, and then scratches at his cheek while he thinks about it.
“According to research low levels of vitamin D have been linked to weight gain in the fall and winter. Vitamin D deficiency slows fat breakdown and promotes fat accumulation.”
Kenma groans softly. “I can’t tell if you’re implying I’m getting fat or just trying to distract me.”
“I said my answers may or may not relate to your questions.”
“Why do you always get so weird this time of year?”
“Maybe I’m lacking in Vitamin D,” Daichi says with a wink.
Kenma stares at him, mouth hanging open, before he starts laughing and just walks away. People warned him when he and Daichi moved in together that things would be rough. That they would have to work at meshing their lives together and living together.
No one ever warned him that Daichi was so freaking… strange. Or came with so many strange friends. Kenma’s friends were strange enough. Daichi didn’t really need to add to that with his own collection of bizarre.

There are pumpkins on the counters. Flannel blankets and shirts on every bed and couch and chair. All manner of hand-crafted leaves — felt, paper, yarn, you name it they’re around — hanging from door handles and picture frames. There’s a ghost drawn in chalk marker on the bathroom mirror.
Kenma has never really had a strong feeling one way or the other about this time of year. And now? Now he’s not sure if he’s going to come out the other side of the season loving or hating it.
“Why are there googly eyes on the fridge?” he asks as he opens the fridge door. He sighs. “Why are there googly eyes on carrots?”
“Ryuu,” Daichi says on his way towards the bathroom. “I think he said they glow in the dark.”
“What even is my life?” Kenma mutters as he grabs out his bottle of water.

“No,” Kenma says, shutting the bedroom door in Shouyou’s face. Shouyou is his friend and he loves him dearly. But he does not have the capacity to deal with Shouyou wearing a monstrosity of a sweater covered in the ugliest looking pumpkins and leaves and little foxes he’s ever seen in his life.
“What’s wrong?” Daichi kisses his temple and reaches for the door.
“I’m done. Wake me up for Christmas.”
Happy birthday dear! I’m so very sorry for all you’re going through. Sending you a hug and wishes for improved health. Good vibes to you!
Thank you so much, love! I appreciate your kindness. Sending back a hug along with the best vibes! 💜🤍
I’m so so sorry about your dog. Our fur babies mean so very much to us. Sending so much love to you both.
Thank you so much. You've always been so supportive and it means a lot to me. He was my best friend. When he passed, I felt a part of myself leave my body. He taught me so much. I will miss him always.
