the tower | knight of swords | five of cups

the tower denotes a significant paradigm shift that will hurt such as a betrayal 500 years ago. this could also allude to what he wishes to inflict towards others

knight of swords is representative of his personality– a headstrong, cocky individual with the fighting prowess to back it up

five of cups represents how kai just can’t let go of the past and is fueled by it, and as a result hinders himself in certain aspects

Fung- The leader was dizzy; the world was somehow upside down. He wiggled in the chains but to no avail; he was stuck. He looked to his left and then to his right but everything seemed to be shrouded in darkness. He listened carefully but the air responded with a ringing silence.

He waited for a moment, to try and remember what happened but words faded in and out.

Travel. Looking for... Gahri...

Fung let out a gasp. Where was Gahri?

“Gahri!” Fung shouted and he looked around the darkness. He stopped when he caught something glowing green in the dark. It looked to be a pair of eyes. Fung was certain that was not his friend.

Fung watched carefully before speaking up, “Yo guy, what’d you do with my friend!”

Fung- The leader stared at the yak and looked him over. He was right about the swords and the strange glow to his eyes. The longer he watched him the more he noticed how apparent that was.

“Uuuh well from the back you look just really fat and ugly so I kinda assumed.” Fung said folding his hands into his chest. He was slightly intimidated by how calm the yak was but thankfully his expectations were already low for himself.

“And I was gonna just take them from you.”

Gahri- The thinner crocodile, who was standing by his friend, interjected. “That was definitely the plan a few moments ago.”

His reputation precedes him, this Kai, and Shen is no fool. His manner is relaxed, harmless, but he is ready to flee (to? he doesn't know) at the slightest hint of retaliation. He does not have what this warrior wants-- he's sure of that, but there's no harm in vigilance.
