"Hi, I'm here to see Castiel," you greet the receptionist.

"Who are you to the patient?"

"Friend. It's visiting hours, right?"

"Yes, ma'am. Sign in right here and grab a badge. Head through the double doors and the rec room is off to the right."

"Thank you."

You sign into the sheet and grab a visitor's badge before following her directions. The rec room is filled with people who either have someone visiting them or just like the alone time. You look around for your friend and spot him at one of the tables in the back. You head over to him with a smile.

"Castiel, it's me Y/N."

"Y/N! It's good to see you," he smiles back. "I'm getting ready to play a game. Would you like to join me?"

"Of course. Thank you." You take a seat across from him as he gets the board game set up. "How are you doing? How is this place?"

"This place is wonderful. I was outside the other day and saw a bee on a flower. Such wonderful creatures. They do so much for the world yet so many humans are scared of them."

"Yeah," you chuckle. Your heart aches for Castiel. He used to be a feared angel of Heaven. Now he's reduced to simple-minded thinking and living. It breaks your heart. he hates sad things so you push down your feelings and look happy for him. "I'm glad you like it here."

He sets up the game of Monopoly while you stare at him in thought. Don't worry, Castiel. I'm going to get you back.

Okay, this is my first time sending in a headcanon, so I might be doing this wrong, so bear with me... A highly anxious reader and what Spencer does in various situations to help.

a/n: no you didn’t do it wrong! it can be as specific or as vague as you want it to be!

you’ve had anxiety growing up, and it’s always been the bad kind of anxiety

you hate any kind of conflict or confrontation, so you’re not sure why you decided to be in the BAU for a living

all they do is confront killers and yell at them not to do it again

maybe you think if you can help people who need jusitice, you can get over your anxiety and actually help them

and while it does help a little, there will definitely be time where your anxiety gets so bad that you can’t even walk into the briefing room or speak

and that’s when you’re grateful to have spencer in your life

he understands anxiety better than anyone, so he knows when you need him the most

you can be afraid of talking to hotch or rossi because of something you did, so he’d escort you into their office and hold your hand the entire time you talked

or you can stare a criminal in the face in an interrogation room without knowing what to say to them, and spencer will take the lead despite hotch or rossi telling you that you’d be the lead

maybe you just finished eating at your desk because you couldn’t bear to eat in the break room, and none of your other coworkers are finished eating so you’re scared to even get up and walk over to the trash can to throw it away. spencer is there to gently take it from you and throw it away

it doesn’t matter what you’re anxious about, you can always count on spencer to be there for you, catching you when you unexpectedly fall

and he’d rather not have it any other way

Sam, I understand you don't want anyone to die for you, but I will. I want to be on the front lines with you. I'll take the bullet for you. The world needs the Winchesters more than it needs me. I've been following it all and I truly believe we can get Dean and Beka back safely, but you have to let us help you. I'll be one your side through it everything, up until the bloody end. You can't do everything by yourself. You'll wear yourself down to nothing if you do. I won't take no for an answer.

If Sam doesn't get what he needs then he is going to fall harder than he ever has. Not only does he need it to get stronger for Lilith, but his body craves it.

You're the only person who can help him, who is on his side.

"Come on, just take it. It's going to help you."

"What if I take too much?" he sighs.

"I won't let that happen." You take your knife and slice your arm open. Your blood trickles down your arm slowly. "It's right here. Take it."

Sam looks at your arm before letting his body take the lead. He grabs your arm and closes his mouth over your wound. You pull him against your body so that his back is to your chest. Your eyes turn pitch black the more he sucks your blood from you.

You might have been supplying him for Lilith in the beginning, but you're starting to feel something for him, something that is going to get you in trouble later on.

You know your mission but you can't help but feel like there is more to Sam Winchester than what they make him out to be.
