                the attack was heading right towards her, which normally she’d be able to used her shield to protect herself, but already had it up to protect the children souls behind her. she stood in front of her shield as she heard the pour little souls scream in fear. orihime knew that she was being rash && stupid, if anything happened to her these kids wouldn’t have anyone to protect them. but she didn’t want them getting hurt. it all happened so fast that all she could was brace herself, her arms covering her upper body and head, closing her eyes shut, waiting for the hollow’s attack to hit her. 

                  but nothing made contact with her, instead a gust of wind blew past her. 

                opening her hues, looking past her arms to see a 6 on someone’s lower back, her mind processing quickly who was in front of her.  ❝  g-grimmjow-san ....   ❞ she whispered softly, shocked that he’d block the hit for her. the difference in their powers were great, so taking a hit from a hollow that’s a little stronger then her would be easy for the blue haired arrancar. && defeating it would be easier. once it was destroyed he turned to face her, which made her jolt a little. she felt unsure of this new situation, but that doesn’t mean she was going to be rude. he didn’t have to help her. ❝ ano ... thank you. i ... appreciate the help.  ❞

Unohana's smile only widened slightly at the Arrancar's words. "How interesting, Jaegerjaquez-san. Your instincts seem rather sharp, for an Arrancar. Yet they are also somewhat...imprecise." She brought her free hand up to her chest as she continued. "I won't deny that the bloodlust is there; the desire to fight and to kill were imprinted upon my soul before I had a name." Her eyes became ever-so-slightly colder. "But rage? What on earth would convince you that the thing that feeds my predilection for violence is something like that?"

"Oi, Inoue was it?" he feigns not caring about the response but truthfully he's listening to how she reacts to him using her name, "I'm stuck in this shit hole fer a while so make room."

                       orihime was a little shocked that he referred her to her name this time. usually he ends up calling her women most of the time. but because she was so taken back from him using her name, she almost missed the part where he basically invited himself in her apartment. she blinked && quickly turned to face the blue haired arrancar.

there  was  some  kind  of  sick  irony  to  be  found,  in  how  grimmjow  was  one  of  the  only  people  who  made  him  truly  FEEL  something  —  even  if  what  luppi  felt  was  hatred.  lips  curved  in  a  wicked  smirk,  concealed  (  if  barely  )  behind  a  sleeve.  he  took  his  sweet  time  responding,  gaze  drifting  lazily  about  as  if  the  other  was  hardly  worth  his  full  attention.  surely  the  feigned  disinterest  would  only  serve  to  sour  grimmjow’s  mood  further  —  it  would  definitely  get  on  luppi’s  NERVES.

                 all orihime could do was just stare. stare as the blue haired arrancar just jumped on the pile of leaves out of nowhere. she showed no kind of expression as she simply put the rake down to the ground, walking next to grimmjow && just slowly lays on her back next to him.
