I don't know if your asks are currently open, but... could I request some Jaehee/Jumin headcanons? I can't help but really ship them (it'd take them FOREVER to ever get together, but they care about each other so much throughout the cold awkwardness)
oh surprisingly i never heard of them as a ship before? :O I get what you mean about their dynamic though!
* Honestly...I really don’t think they’d end up together whilst Jaehee’s working for him. Even if she harbored any feelings towards Jumin, she has a very strong sense of responsibility, and would never act on them. Plus, there’d always be a power dysbalance between them so long as she works for him.
* So in this case, with the motivation from her new friend MC, she did quit her job for Jumin, even though she felt a huge pang of guilt about it-and something else, a nostalgia she couldn’t quite place. Even so, Jumin was actually quite calm about the whole thing, and let her go without much of a complaint.
* She’s always been there for him, even when he infuriates her to no end. She’d always been there to help him, and saw sides of him no one else has. Sure, at first she also thought he’s a heartless robot, but seeing how he acts with Elizabeth, or how fiercly he cares about the RFA, she has to admit that that’s not the case.
* As for Jumin-for all his intellect, he’s quite emotionally daft and unaware. He only understood that he feels something for Jaehee long after she left the company; at first he thought he just missed her because she was the best assistant he could’ve asked for, but when he found himself waking up at night with the thought of her in his mind, he realised that must not be the case.
* He actually called V to ask for help, wondering what these butterflies in his stomach were. Cue a very, very awkward conversation between the two as V tries to explain to Jumin what love is lol
* He’d ened up visiting Jaehee and MC’s coffee shop a LOT, acting nonchalant at first, until he admitted he wanted to see them, pointedly looking to Jaehee.
* MC would honestly end up being their match-maker; telling Jaehee to take a break whenever Jumin would come to sit at the coffee shop, ‘accidentantly’ scedhuling appointments so she could leave the two alone e.t.c.
* Once Jumin accepted that he has a crush on Jaehee, he took it very seriously. He’d bring her bouquets of flowers, extravagant gifts and so forth, that Jaehee would vehemently refuse.
* One day as she rejected yet another gift, she looked to Jumin and asked why he’d do all this for her. He just blinked down at her owlishly. “Because I’d like to court you? I thought that was obvious?” He asked and oh my god Jaehee turned into a red tomato.
* When they do end up together it’d take a long, long time for either of them to tell the RFA about it-not that they didn’t already know lol. If it was up to Jumin he’d tell everyone straight away, but Jaehee would shush him everytime, begging him to give her some time to adjust to this change before saying anything.
* She’d feel really awkward about him paying for dates or bringing her gifts-but Jumin would simply smile at her and say ‘I just want to spoil the person I love, is there something wrong with that?’
* Zen would be a guard dog for Jaehee lol, if Jumin ever hurt her in any single way he’d tear him apart. No one messes with Baehee. NO ONE.
