“Hi Jaehwannie, I’m home”

It’s only a matter of seconds before you’re pulled into your boyfriend’s arms. He greets you with a kiss on the forehead and his usual bright smile.

“Hi love! I’m glad you’re back, I wanted to ask you a question about-”

He stops mid-sentence when he hears you mumble an unconvinced “mmhmm”. You’re too lost in your thoughts to pay attention, letting your bag fall down on the couch with a sigh.

“What’s going on? Are you okay?”

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“No. Something’s wrong, don’t try to hide that from me, I know you.”

His worried tone is what snaps you out of your thoughts. He pouts at you when you don’t answer. You sit down next to your bag and he does the same, taking your hand in his.

“It’s….”

You pause, looking for your words. You don’t even know why you feel like you do, but it really isn’t a nice feeling. Jaehwan stays silent, letting you think about what you’re going to say, not wanting to hurry you. When you finally understand what made you so stressed out, tears are beginning to fill up your eyes.

“I’m just really stressed because of work…There’s so much stuff going on and I feel overwhelmed by everything…like I’m losing control over my life or something. I don’t have time to do what I need to do, I have deadlines to meet, I’m just- I feel like I’m not enough.”

His hands cups your cheek, stopping a tear from falling to your chin. The soft expression on his face only making you bury your face in his chest. He kisses the top of your head before calming you down and wrapping you into another tight hug.

“It’s okay, it’s okay. I’m here.”

When you look up at him after a few minutes, he smiles and kisses your nose.

“You’re human, you know? It’s okay to feel overwhelmed by a lot of work, to make mistakes…you don’t have to be perfect! No one can be! I can tell you, you are enough. I know you. If you tackle things one by one and not as a big problem you have to solve, you’ll be able to get through it! I don’t like to see you sad like this, you’re so strong, I’ll help you if you want but for now, it’s official cuddling time! You need to relax and think about something else than work.”

After making sure you’re not crying anymore, he stands up and walks to the kitchen. It’s not long before he comes back, smiling whilst bringing you a plate of your favourite dish.

“So, what I wanted to ask you was what you wanted to drink with your supper, but I figured I’d go back and grab it for you since I don’t want your surprise to get cold….Now it’s cuddle time!”

You smiled back as he winked at you.

“I love you, Jaehwan. I love you so much.”

“You’re late,” you tell him without even bothering to look him in the eye. You continue to highlight the sentence on your reading–which, let’s be honest, you don’t even understand. “You were supposed to be here, like, two hours ago.” Upcoming midterms week and feeling homesick is definitely taking a toll on you.

“I’m sorry,” he pouts. “But I got you something!” The pout disappears into a huge smile on his face as he proudly places this large paper bag on your table. “Open it,” he motions you–pushing the bag closer to you.

You give him a stern look as you put your books aside. “What did you bring this time? I swear if this is one of your pranks, I wouldn’t even know what to tell you, I have a freaking midterm exam tomorro––“ your continuous blabber when you’re annoyed is put to a halt when you find out what is inside the bag. “What the…” Your eyes widen in surprise. “How did you…?” Suddenly, you too, break into a huge smile.

“As I’ve told you, my groupmates and I filmed our midterm project earlier and surprisingly, it was actually close to where you and your family live,” he says, quite proud of himself. “So, I dropped by to say hi and as lucky as I am, your mom had just prepared lunch so she told me to bring some back here.” Jaehwan crosses his arms to taunt you, “So what were you mad about?”

Too busy unpacking and taking whiffs of each box filled with large portions of home cooked meals, you too, forgot you were mad in the first place. “Sometimes I hate you, sometimes I love you. I’m trying to decide which I’m feeling right now.”

“Come on, you know you always love me!” He teases you. Jaehwan continues to watch you unpack each box and lay it out on the table neatly. He gives you a tender smile you wouldn’t even get to see. “Three of those are for me, by the way.” You shoot him a suspicious look. “That’s what your mom said. Call her if you want to,” he shrugs.

“Fine,” you tell him. “Honestly sometimes I feel like my mom loves you more than she loves me.” You hand him the 3 boxes that were prepared specially for him, which of course included his favorites.

“Thank you~” he sings in a very chirpy tone. “Let’s eat!” He motions you to clink your spoon with his. And, like the finale of a magic trick, you feel like Jaehwan has magically brought you home. Suddenly home wasn’t a place anymore, but a feeling.

Situation 27. Sentence 16. Fluff please.. borderline smut? Lol

prompt: (27) cleaning wounds + (16) “No, no, no. I know where this is gonna lead. We do not have the time for sex.”

summary: jaehwan busted his lip trying to open a bottle of soda lol

a/n: btw i chose jaehwan for this (bc u forgot to put which member omg) since i just noticed that i haven’t written anything about him yet :( i will try to write more of jaehwan from now on!! hehe

“I warned you not to do that!” you roll your eyes with your back faced towards Jaehwan as you rummage through the cupboards looking for a clean towel.

“I thought it would look cool!” he yells back at you, heaving a deep sigh. He continues to stroke his busted bottom lip with his thumb. Staring at the unopened bottle of cola in front of him.

You turn to face Jaehwan, “Stop touching it!” you shout once again as you catch him touching his bleeding lip––afraid he might infect it further. You immediately turn the faucet on and begin to dampen the towel.

“Stop yelling at me,” Jaehwan pouts. “I’m hurt and you’re hurting me more.” He crosses his arms and does his best to look cute.

You give him an exhausted look as you cock your eyebrow high enough to show how you’re not buying any of what he’s doing. Finally, you walk closer towards Jaehwan sitting on one of your kitchen’s bar stools.

You pat his bottom lip carefully with the damp towel, resting your other hand on his thigh. “Ah! Ah!” Jaehwan winces at the pain. “AH!”

Out of surprise, you began apologizing repeatedly. “I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” You’re cupping his cheeks with both of your hands now. “Tell me when it starts to hurt, okay?” You tell him with a worried look on your face. His eyes and yours intent on each other’s only.

Jaehwan’s eyes suddenly breaks contact as it traces down the direction towards the your lips. “It hurts,” he says in a low voice–simultaneously placing his hands on top of yours. “And I think I know what would make it feel better…”

You were taken aback as your lips touch his. Tasting that faint hint of blood from his fresh wound. Your arms immediately jerk to push him backward. “Are you insane?” You yell at him, again. “Doesn’t it hurt?”

Jaehwan sighs, “No! I just told you it would make it feel better.” Now placing his hands on your sides, slowly enclosing you in-between his arms. His eyes intent on yours once again. “Now, didn’t you want to heal my wound?”

His lips were back with yours in one quick movement. You were careful to keep your kisses light, afraid of hurting Jaehwan.

“What’s wrong?” Jaehwan breaks the kiss. You roll your eyes.

“What’s wrong is that your lips are obviously bleeding! And yet here we are!” You flail your arms out of frustration, “in this! This! Heated moment or something…” You start to mumble. “I just don’t want to hurt you, okay.” Your eyes began to wander the room, “but I do want to kiss you.”

Jaehwan lets out a chuckle. Pulling you much closer than earlier. This time, his grip on you was much more eager. Without saying a word, he stares deep into your eyes––and then nothing but darkness as you close your eyes and let him envelope his mouth with yours. Jaehwan pushes his lip onto yours, as if there was no wound at all.

His hands began to sneak its way underneath your shirt, and grips on your lower back’s exposed skin, trying to pull you in further. You let out short breaths as you gasp for air, before enclosing with his lips once again and again––and again.

His fingers nearing towards the hook of your bra. Suddenly, your eyes flutter open and you push him away from you in one swift move. “No, no no. I know where this is gonna lead. We do not have the time for sex.”

“What do you mean!” Jaehwan grunts. “It’s a Sunday!”

“Yeah, it’s a Sunday!” your hands are on your waist now. “And our parents are coming over, dummy!”

“So?” He shakes his shoulders. “You invited them for dinner. We obviously still have a lot of time,” emphasizing on a lot. Jaehwan stands up from the stool and walks over towards you.

“Jaehwan…” you cross your arms.

“Jaehwan,” he mocks. “I do want to kiss you, Jaehwan.” He continues to tease you as he rubs his hands up and down your arms. You grunt at him.

“Fine! But let’s make it quick, I still have to cook.” You grab him by his shirt and immediately pull him towards the bedroom. Immediately stopping your tracks halfway through. “My mom must not find out that I rushed the cooking.” You glare at him.“Oh she will,” Jaehwan winks at you. You slap his arm lightly and he chuckles. “My lip, remember! She’ll think that we really-” You find yourself rolling your eyes again, closing the bedroom door quickly before Jaehwan says anything more.
