@jaeokayyy
I hope you don’t mind that I made a separate post and tagged you in it. I wasn’t exactly sure whether or not I should do this, or send you a message. If you’d rather I send you a message instead, feel free to tell me and we can take this into a private conversation.
Anyway, the term lesbian, while there are people who do see it as a sexuality, it’s actually just an identity as a whole. If you’re a female, or somebody who uses she/her pronouns, and you’re also attracted to females, or anybody who uses she/her pronouns, exclusively, you're allowed to identify as a lesbian if you want. That includes people who also identify as asexual, which literally just means ‘somebody who doesn’t experience sexual attraction.’
Asexuals can still have sex with their partners if they’re sex positive. Also demisexuals, and grey-sexuals fall under the asexual spectrum as well.
I hope this was helpful to you, or anybody who may have been confused, and anybody who wants to add in their two cents, most certainly can.
