“How on earth did you get so muddy?” Jae asked Wonpil, exiting the house. Wonpil shrugged dusting off his pants legs. “Did you fall?” Jae questioned him giggling at the thought of Wonpil falling in mud. Wonpil shamelessly nodded. Head hung low. Jae felt a little guilty, stepping closer to Wonpil, staring deeply into his deeply rich brown eyes. Jae had a small smile on his face, one that was caring. Jae took his finger tracing Wonpils lips, wiping the mud off carefully. Going back to tracing it. Jae brought Wonpils head up from hanging low, tilting it towards himself. Jae kept flickering his eyes from Wonpils lips and eyes. Until he couldn’t resist any longer. Catching his lips in a sweet passionate kiss. As they carried on kissing, it got heated with Wonpil tangling his hands in Jaes hair and Jae grabbing Wonpils ass to pull him closer. Wonpil opened his eyes to see Jaes lust filled eyes. Jae pulled away “first one to the bed gets to be on top,!” Jae said quickly running inside and up the stairs. “Not fair!” Wonpil pouted, chasing after him, excited for what’s to come. As they reached the bedroom, Jae pushed Wonpil onto the bed, instructing him to strip of his clothes. They both got naked together. Jae hovered Wonpil kissing his body all over. Giving Wonpil small praises. “Bunny, you have such a nice body, so perfect” Jae kept repeating.

17. Watch Your Step | Jaepil

The full band had to look after Dowoon’s niece while her parents were away on holiday. They sent lots of toys and games and instructions to keep her happily occupied.

With Dowoon cooking, Sungjin stressing about how messy the dorm was and Brian sleeping somewhere; that left Jae and Wonpil to look after the child invading their dorm space.

Wonpil was a natural with children, smiling and almost becoming a child again himself. This allowed Jae just to sit back, relax as much as possible and watch what was going on. He watched Wonpil make the face he always made when he had a bright idea and stand up to do whatever this idea was as quickly as possible. He watched Wonpil begin to run, and then...

“Watch your step,” Jae warned, but it was too late. Wonpil’s foot landed on a stray Lego piece and his cry of pain filled the apartment followed by Jae’s melodic laughter. Much to Wonpil’s dismay, no one came to help him: Brian was still sleeping somewhere, Sungjin still sulking, Dowoon still cooking and Jae still laughing so much he couldn’t move.

“I’ll get you peas,” Jae managed to offer between breaths, still letting out a giggle every once in a while. Wonpil was still sitting on the floor massaging his foot when he watched Jae return empty handed.

“Dowoon is cooking the peas.”

Jae was tall, he wasn’t scared of some petty ‘haunted house’.Every jump scare, he walked past unfazed. However, the rest of his band wereeither close to tears or laughing with shock.

Wonpil was close to tears. He never really handled scarythings well, so getting a scream from him in this haunted house was to beexpected. But for him this was all too overwhelming.

Jae watched three of his band members walk ahead eitherlaughing or screaming or both along the way. He felt a tug on his shirt sleeveas he began to wonder where the fourth member was. Jae lowered his gaze to seeWonpil shying away in case Jae might make fun of him.

“Can I hold yourhand?” Wonpil asked in a quiet voice only loud enough for Jae to hear.Wonpil expected him to say no and look like an idiot for the rest of the day.But when he heard him laugh and hold out his hand, Wonpil took it gratefully,holding on tight with no plan on letting it go until they had left the hauntedhouse.

The dorm was quiet for once, three members were out, leaving Jae to look after Wonpil who was currently emerging from his room to unintentionally disturb Jae’s silence.

Wonpil sat next to him on the couch and Jae sighed. Before Wonpil could say anything, Jae had cut him off.

“Close your eyes and hold out you hands,” Jae stood up from the couch and faced his friend who was giving him a confused look. “Just trust me. My blunt persona is only on camera.” Jae added before Wonpil finally obliged. He expected Jae to leave him sitting there, but that was not the case when he felt a strange but familiar object being placed in his hands.

“You can choose the game too,” Jae explained as Wonpil gladly took the controller as Jae set up the console.

“Game on.”

Having a comeback every month was extremely difficult for anyone to do. But that was Day6, doing extremely difficult things because they can. Because they are capable of doing it. However, doing something like this can take a lot out of one person. That was how Jae was feeling.

Months of shooting music videos, travelling, doing concerts, going on radio and event shows, it was a lot to keep up with. So when Wonpil found Jae knocked out on the couch, where he has been for the past hour and a quarter, Wonpil felt like he needed to do something for Jae. Heck, Jae was even inactive on his social media for more than twenty hours.

So Wonpil left Jae to sleep, waiting to give him his present, hoping to help him feel better. When the doorbell went, Jae stirred, lifting his hands to rub his eyes only to be stopped by his glasses. He heard the quick pitter-patter on footsteps as Wonpil went to answer the front door and receive a package.

“Oh, you’re awake,” Wonpil said as he placed the package on the coffee table in front of Jae. “I thought I should get you this considering how worn out you are.”

“Is that lobster?” Jae questioned, the unmistakable smell reaching him. Wonpil nodded. “Dude. This is amazing. I love you. This is the best day ever. Oh, hi Wonpil have you seen this beautiful lobster? I can’t believe this, I must be dreaming.” Jae rambled.

Wonpil watched with his usual smile on his face as Jae wasted no time in diving into his favourite meal.
