Jungkook watered the sprout inside a little pot. He tenderly muttered, “C’mon little guy, you can do it.” He did this every day at work, usually during the times when business is a little slow. He sometimes left the little sprout outside so it can get lots of sunlight. He looks forward to day when little sprout will grow into beautiful lavender flowers. Although there were fake plants around the The Flower Mill for decoration, he thought it would be nice to house some real plants in the café so regular customers can enjoy. 

He walked around the café to water all the other real plants. He focused as he gently sprayed water onto the leaves and flowers. He didn’t really know too much about plant care except for what he read in books and the advice the lady at the gardening store gave him. As he was about to clean the tables, someone had been watching him. It was that new female employee, Jaeyeon. He hasn’t spoken to her too much but he heard that she can basically heal things. At least that’s what Seokjin told him. Jungkook felt a little awkward and nervous around his new female co-worker.    

He asked curiously, “Do you need something?” He hopes he doesn’t come off as rude.

“keepp hydrated! im concerned of you in that heat”

It’s already the second time someone has commented on today’s high temperature to Artemis and told her to stay hydrated. She purses her lips slightly - out of habit whenever people mention water - and realizes, well shit, my lips are dry.

“I see,” she answers simply. “Thank you for your concern. You’re one of Airmid’s children, correct?”

The girl looks vaguely familiar, and Artemis contributes it to the council’s records of citizens. She purses her lips again. Would it be weird to try to recruit this girl? She’ll have to wait and see. And keep an eye on her.

“all this stress isn't good for you.”

Kyungsoo supposes that rapidly flipping through book pages with a crumpled forehead would rather make him seem like a stressed university student, and while he is a university student, that statement isn’t completely true when taken all together.

School isn’t very stressful. What he is stressed about is finding more tales of his parent. He has a bad feeling, like something is about to happen, and any information would be greatly appreciated.

He looks at the girl, and simply says, “oh, I know. But there’s something off about the city.“

Medical Hut

Seokjin is in the middle of work when the Council’s announcement blares through the city.

Wounded people, is what resounds in Seokjin’s head.

After a second of freezing, he quickly puts his tray away, figuring that this is much more important than work right now (if his boss or coworkers get mad at him, they can bite him later). His brain goes into overdrive, immediately remembering my medical supplies are in my locker, I can probably bring the shop’s first-aid kits, and we have collapsible tables and chairs in the back.

He sets off immediately, planning to bring the medical supplies near the fight first, and then the tables and chairs and anyone who can help him in another trip. If the medical stuff is there first, then at least people can come and bandage themselves up a bit until he arrives with tables.

He’s got an arm full with two first-aid kits and his briefcase when he spots Jaeyeon. He shoves the first-aid kits and another on the counter into her arms, pulls her with him to the back and grabs multiple chairs - is that a cot? Random but helpful - pushes open the back door with his shoulder, and simply says, “come with me.”

Outline| SungJong And Jaeyeon

@jaeyeonxmp SungJong hadn't long arrived in the park when he began looking for a place to sketch. He gripped onto his sketchbook tightly. He'd been trying calligraphy earlier, he'd ended up drawing out his daughters name and decorating it beautifully. He wanted to make sure it fitted his baby girl. He wanted to paint it. Make it a beautiful mural to his daughter, So here he could even have something about her. He just needed a break. He had ended up feeling sad and he didn't want to feel that way. He loved her but he just wasn't quite ready to deal with it all. He found a quiet spot and smiled a little at the girl who sat next to him. He noticed that she was also sketching. He couldn't help but look at her drawing. "Im sorry." He said quietly. "But your style is nice, and I love how you're shading."
